Thank You for making ... Sensible Remarks.

In the past, folks were found voting in more than one Texas County ... PLUS ... a lot of DEAD-FOLKS were discovered to be Voting.

Talk about a ... "Head Scratch'r"

Yep.
Good ole LBJ was famously voted into the senate on the votes of dead people.
A guy in one district over in west Texas said, "My Dad's been dead for ten years. He came back to vote in the election but didn't even stop by to say hello." or something to that effect.

As far as not having a valid ID, people are always saying women are just as capable as men. Aren't they capable of getting an ID?

If there were a zombie plague tomorrow the papers would have headlines that say, " Everybody's gonna die! Women impacted most. "

Us are the people who rely on jobs for existence. My husband and I are retired. We are spending all of our savings helping family to stay off the streets and welfare because their jobs can't keep up.

That doesnt have anything to do with republicans specifically mam, sorry.

Yes, it does. The republicans are the ones that have been making policies for trickle down economics for about 40 years. Employment based health coverage, low taxes, require high employment.

Democrats and liberals want to give everything away, remember? I was paying attention in the 80's and through the 90's when the attack on the working man, the poor, particularly single mothers began. Union busting for one, Cheney changing the bankruptcy laws to favor the broke rich, blaming it on Las Vegas gamblers, what a lie.

With all due respect (I'm also a mom of three), I have to add that without 'Republicans' pushing for business and workers, there would be no money for government assistance.

Your half right, republicans do support business, but they don't support workers at all. Unless you agree that business don't need to provide a livable wage, because government will help with welfare.

I have not so far.. I am probably the ONLY democrat that could win the office ( my liberal friends get mad at me all the time as do my conservative friends.. that think for myself thing)

And hold it..

I would be there at every execution to pull the switch myself so no one else could be accused of murder but me

I am half tempted to take a new approach to the 2nd amendment
The first Licenses to NOT carry requirement
Charge about a thousand a year.. Put the money into my school systems
and yes keep the federal and state laws on the books about fees for carrying

If women have the right to decide because it is there body
I am going to license brothels.. it is a person's body and there right to choose

Drug testing for all people in texas who receive government funds or money's from government agents

Gay marriage is legal for same sex couples..
A thousand dollars a permission slip

The whole point here is that no offense to those who like to troll and offend my southern cultural sensitivities (you bigots) but the article makes about as much sense as my above statements.. It is an attempt at brainwashing

I went and asked several pollsters and geuss what the old ladies told me (Yes I know them..) Actually it seems that the women married are allowed to vote. The issue has come up and they have specific protocol to deal with those issues..

No wonder you cant win, you said you tried to get on a ballot?

See that's the problem with Texas politicians right there. You guys are easy pickins. its like shooting at fish in a barrel man.

Lets break down your thoughts here.
"I would be there at every execution to pull the switch myself so no one else could be accused of murder but me"
How do you figure, you personally have the right to take a persons life in the first place? any of ya? Then claim that you've read any constitution anywhere. Texas or otherwise. Sounds more like outlawing to me.

"I am half tempted to take a new approach to the 2nd amendment The first Licenses to NOT carry requirement Charge about a thousand a year..

You dont take any sort of approach to the second amendment in that manner really. Government exists to protect the lives, liberties and properties of the people. Whether they carry or not is up to the individual, not government. You wanna charge a small fee for the license? Or say hey neph, holster that? Go for it. But its up the people whether they carry or not and you don't punish them for it either way. That's the damn problem with politicians. Some of you guys who run just don't get it. You work for US. You're not there to crack your own whips.

"Put the money into my school systems and yes keep the federal and state laws on the books about fees for carrying"
Texas has long since kept and held property which is there specifically for the school system. I would never vote for someone who doesn't know at least some of our history. If you don't, please don't bother. If anything you should be cracking down on the collection of property taxes across the state and every Texan should know why if they went through our schools, especially now. The school system is not to be funded by property taxes on the home nor is government to be funded by taxing peoples homes, government has done nothing to earn that home bought inherited or otherwise; let alone have one say on what goes on there. Its also a damn shame when you allow private entities to tax the home. GET REAL.

If women have the right to decide because it is there body I am going to license brothels.. it is a person's body and there right to choose

It is every persons right to decide for themselves what they do with their body. You dont have to like that, but that's the way it is. If you have not read the rulings on the 14th, again please do not bother. You're already trying to get yourself into personal domain.

Drug testing for all people in Texas who receive government funds or money's from government agents Gay marriage is legal for same sex couples.. A thousand dollars a permission slip

/sigh You have not read the Texas constitution have you? Its almost like, not one bit of it. Its either that or you guys just don't care. Its embarrassing man. What do you think we treat gays like crap out here? They aren't denied anything, they work, they live they party they have bars and they own property. No one is depriving these people of a damn thing. This political line democrats tow is nonsense, the really sad part is you guys think you're right when you scream racism or discrimination. What givesy ou the right anyway to tax someones personal life?

Second? You don't have to bother with drug testing law, companies out here do this on their own. If you do anything you should protect peoples RIGHT TO WORK. With this testing policy youre literally dumping all over it. If a person enters a contract and you agree to the terms of that contract then you're expected to uphold that contract. Both people can terminate that agreement at any time for any reason or no reason at all when its literally written there. That includes invasive drug testing policies.
Furthermore, if you know anything about our republic, you'd know many of the states down here were part of Texas, we share a kinship with them historically and when they make a major decision like some have on drug policy? We should probably respect their decisions and back them if they need it. Even if it means we do the same thing.

Please go read a little about the state you live in before you decide to try to uphold the political wills of the people here, seriously. Don't even get me started on local.

I dont know anything about you guys giving everything away honestly. Dick Cheney is not in politics at this time but many from his era still are, and they're not all republicans. Second, your state is majority dem. If people in wash are not working right now, even with liberal policy, I don't know what to say.

Our representative is Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R). Our nearest city on this side is Spokane. The only decent transportation in and out of the city leads to Seattle. There other small cities and town north and south that decent highway system would open jobs and businesses. She only cares about big agriculture which employ few jobs.

dont change the rules mid stream

Someone found guilty
Sentenced to death
Review the case
Do not pass the buck
If the state is going to take someones life then the Governor and President should be present

It should be a requirement.. So the moral duty of responsibility is not passed on..
as the executive by not pardoning you are executing..

Like the person complaining that they do not kill hogs, kill cows, or innocent wheat plants
then eat a bacon cheeseburger

You are just as guilty as the butcher

So no.. You have to be there

that next part is called humor.. try some

It is sarcasm to point out fallacies
since it is all about money with the government
why not require all members who do not have fire arms to pay for the right NOT to carry.. then charge for carrying

The money for Veterans Services and Food stamp programs need new sources of funding so why not generate wht you like to call new revenue

It stopped being about rights in Roswell

as for the rest of thee rant..

Have you figured out like most americans I am sick of the political trolling and pure BS..

Listen you can quote what you think the rules say on paper but the unfortunate reality is that.. Like the said in pirates of the Carribean.. "Their more like guidelines then rules"

there are the rules then there are how they are applied
The Idea versus the reality
The reality is that every section is getting away with interpreting it their way and when one gets away with the others copy that

Look at ethics laws and rules passed on congress

The whole damn thing is like a five year old arguing over the rules when he is in trouble and the eleven year olds get to decide..

as for not knowing where I live

You want the corruption or the laws on the books

how about the fact the Tollroads were only supposed to be temporary
Or the fact they used public domain to take land then build the new cowboys stadium

its ok because Im ignorant..

Texas women are not disenfranchised....

You know, normally, I wouldn't think this was a big deal. But I recently got married and my wife had to go through A LOT to change her name. You usually don't think about all the things you have to change when you change your name but its a lot more than I was ready to accept. We were updating her passport and man oh man the forms you had to fill out...I never thought about the voting thing. So...if Texas keeps this up, are they finally going Blue?
