You must admit they have shown a talent for writing some of the finest ficton that I have had the pleasure to read. It ranks right up there with Grims Fairy tales and comic books. About the only thing they got right is the country. I think they should change it to a fake coutry so they would not have to be held back by reality at any point of the story

Some of Alawis relatives get kidnapped and then released. Im not sure, but I think two of the people kidnapped were minors. So the Terrorist have even stooped to those levels. Whats even worse is the fact that the insurgents are breeding hate into thier own children. 9 year old kids helping in the insurgent cause. They make me sick

Strategy > numbers, always. Tartars had best tactics and milstrat in the world at that time. No doubt Arabs were running around like Europeans with curved swords or whatever, against army that used flares and flags for comms, smoke screens, tactical retreat, and gigantic formations of archers who could fire in any direction while doing mass tactical retreats and encirclements. No one stood up to Tartars. They could have gone to Iceland if they had felt like it.

The Tartar was no friend to civilian. Look what they did to Kiev which didn't surrender. Burned everything to ground, made pyramid of a million human (civilian) skulls and salted Earth.

So Western Europe was lucky. They lost all forces in Poland in total wipeout battle. There are still Chinese-looking people in Poland from this. There are still Chinese-looking people in Persia from this. Saying is, "Scratch a Russian find a Tartar." Tartar yoke fell on anyone they tried to conquer. Only the Kamikaze saved Japan.

These guys must have learned from the Soviets and improved on it. Its the old If I say it enuf on TV it must be true. These guys should write for Marvel or so says my spidey sence

But where is our usual contingent of Jihadists. Unually quiet IMHO. Pehaps this outlandish tale is as you pointed out to much like a Brothers Grimm story for them to bother

We need a Deny Ignorance Jihad!!!

Taibunsuu, I agree, I was just pointing out something he may not have known before
There are some very admirable Islamic generals that emerged from the Mid-East in the later Crusades.

Back to the propaganda being spread by theses Arab news sources. How many Arabs are taking this as truth, do you think?

One bit of Mongol trivia for you all: they were the first to use biological wafare. They would load up diseased corpses and catapult them into beseiged cities.

Even Gengis had a "Shock and Awe" campaign

Since Arabs are such total pussies, maybe the US would fair better in Iraq without armor dominance, air dominance, body armor, the world's best medical support, and satellite intel, and just go in with AK-47s and RPGs? That way, things are even.

Hmmm no body ever said war was fair eh?. If you happen to pick a fight with the biggest baddest dude on the block, well maybe you will have to chance to learn from your mistakes maybe not in this case.

So far the heroic resistance had bravely decapitated workers and shot women in the back of the head. Viva la resistance as it were.

My point is that pussies don't fight the US. As far as picking fights it's the US in a foreign country, so who's picking the fight? It's certain that not all insurgents who fight US are cutting off heads in their spare time. Just like not all US servicemembers are double tapping surrendered wounded in the head in their spare time, or making Iraqi guys felate each other or stripping them and covering them in # in Abu Ghraib prison.

Remember in 80s, US exhalted Mujahadeen in Afghanistan, Reagan called them Freedom Fighters and they were feature in Rambo 3 movie. People universally said they were unbeatable. Now that they are on other side, they of course are cowardly terrorists and mercenaries. Odd, that.

This just in!!:

"The Lions of Felujah are now halfway accross the Atlantic swimming to New York. With Allah's help and guidance the remaining half of the journy will take just another hour or so. The US is preparing by strapping puppies and kittens to thier vehicles as a new type of reactive armor a local official reported. Women and kids are lining the beaches to help repel the impending Jihadists. More details as story develops..."

I read in the paper yesterday that insurgents were fighting in the Euphrates, and if Google it, I'm sure you'll find tons of articles. It was on CNN, FOX, etc. What's the big deal? Why does everyone think it's a lie?

Unlike Ghengis...the insurgents would have to deal with what a river does to old, hand me down, but modern equipment....

I'm sure the kids are next on the list...

U.S. occupation forces clashed with Iraqi fighters in the western Iraqi city of Fallujah on Thursday, ten days after the U.S. military launched a major offensive to regain control over the shattered city.

You must be kidding. Allawi declared Fallujah finished about a week ago, and Marine commanders say they have controlled 100% of Fallujah.

Enemy propaganda, no resemblance of reality in Fallujah at all!

Every news story I have read said they were still fighting, also I didnt know the Iraqi had 2 Armies?

I have not seen ONE story from the American side that said the fighting was over, could you provide a link?

This is what I have to say about this thread:

Mokuhadzushi,

You call the islamic facist murderers over there "heroic"? What in your mind paints these animals as heroic? Also you attempt to paint over the facts by labeling them as the "Resistance". Most of these barbarians are from other countries than Iraq so they are hardly a "Resistance".

Are these slaughterers heroic when they lop off heads?

What about when they execute women, are they heroic then?

Some people I will never understand

The US army has positioned snipers on the banks of the Euphrates and they killing anyone who crosses in the water. Hardly the kind of battlefield that the insurgents could win in.

Add to that Super Cobras are positioned on the outside of town waiting to straif the waters with 30MM chain gun rounds.

What little resistance there is in Falluja will be wiped out in a few days.
