U.S. forces launched a series of air strikes against Iraqi fighters still resisting in the war-torn western Iraqi city of Falluja.

Sporadic gun fire and blasts were heard in south-central parts of Fallujah as U.S. soldiers were hunting fighters in the city.

In the northern Jolan neighborhood, U.S. troops clashed with resistance who officers said had sneaked back into the city by swimming across the Euphrates River.

Despite boastful Pentagon claims, the US is still fighting in Falluja

I thought the American Army had been wiped out?

Is this a new one?

The US is still fighting in Fallujah, but at the same time, still winning Fallujah. Deny Propaganda.

Interesting perspective. The west must be gritting its teeth now. With the Yanks and Brits announcing wins only to have to re-announce them someone needs a new script book.

Fallujah looks like Beirut on T.V. after the Israeli attacks years back. Also noticed the UN is clammoring for trials against those that killed/murdered unarmed civilians www.aljazeera.com...

I just don't see the US handing over Marines to the UN for war crimes.

I wonder why the US didn't patrol the river? Maybe they thought Iraqis couldn't swim?

People is fighting in Iraq everyday since the US invaded that country, and is not stopping or end to come any time soon.

Our administration can declared victory everyday but the truth is that is no victory at all, form neither the US, insurgents or the poor people in that country.

Democracy really is a comodity now a days.

Looks like Baghdad Bob's got a partner!!!

This just in.....
The "heroes" are no longer swimming across the Euphrates, as it is now filled with the corpses of dead infidels. The most righteous resistance is now walking across the river on a bridge made of rotting Americans...yada yada yada.....

Since some people seem to be reading my posts, i'd like to ask the question that i wanted to ask for a long time :

Could the iraqi resistance win against the US if Ghengis Khan was leading them ?

Maybe if Khan was equipped with thermal-killing stealth technology, a heat/bullet/explosion proof adamantium suit, and a laser supported anti-ballistic missile system. Just maybe though.

Sadly enough, as I'm sure through all of your propaganda campaigns, I'm sure you haven't forgot what Ghengis did to Shah Moahmmed and the Kwarezm Empire? Religious Zealots of the Middle East would be too cowardly for Temujin even today.
Even back then, the jihadi soldier preferred killing civillians to warriors. Looks like history indeed repeats itsself.

Mmmmm. He didn't seem to have much problem wiping out the Teutonic knights in Poland, either. In fact he merely sent his grandson to deal with those wusses. Since Arabs are such total pussies, maybe the US would fair better in Iraq without armor dominance, air dominance, body armor, the world's best medical support, and satellite intel, and just go in with AK-47s and RPGs? That way, things are even.

You forget what the slaughtering of civilians will do to the other side though. Shah the Cowardly OUTNUMBERED the DISADVANTAGED mongols by 40,000 troops. Where there's a will there's a way, and these morons keep feeding our will.

Fallujah? That's over! The liberating jihadist are currently swimming through the Suez Canal with the Eastern Seaboard as the destination... It won't be long before IslamOnline.com, and JihadUnspun.com have to hire North American correspondents... Errr... wait, they don't need correspondents, they just sit there and report with creativity.

Al Jazeera Monkeys, not just for making it up as we go anymore...

Isnt that enough to get banned? Im starting to think he is sitting in Iraq and trying to influence us with his blathering ideocy

Kid, that's why those of us who don't fall for their juvenile chicanery are here to make sure those of us that are factually challenged don't get too out of hand, whether they swoop in from the right or the left.

Hmmm no body ever said war was fair eh?. If you happen to pick a fight with the biggest baddest dude on the block, well maybe you will have to chance to learn from your mistakes maybe not in this case.

So far the heroic resistance had bravely decapitated workers and shot women in the back of the head. Viva la resistance as it were. The poster of this thread must be so proud. The only thing that is left is the kidnapping of children.

Funny, how not even the Iranian News Agency coveres the same stories. THAT tells you something right there. Yes yes, they exagerate the civilian casulties and the like, but where is the story about the heroic martyrs crossing the river to take on the proxies of the great satan? Hmmm I could get a job writing copy for them
