New Game in NYC - 'Knock Out the Jew'

instead of using the media code word 'youths' they name the race of the attackers.

I knew someone would try to pull a race card.

The reason for the attacks by the black hoods is based on race. And the attackers ARE black.
Those are the facts ... and the media is reporting the facts.
There is a long history of blacks attacking Jews - both verbal and physical - in Crown Heights.
THEY are the ones shouting racist hate speech. (I gave some of the info on this already)

But because the news identifies the attackers being black, that somehow the news is actually the racist ones? Is that what you are implying? Because if it is ... that's absurd.

Good grief. How on earth is that playing the race card?

I'm pointing out that this 'knock down' game has been going for ages, black on white, and no one has given a crap until some Jews in New York are hit. And no one in the media, when whites have been targeted over the past few years, has said it's black on white and have used the media code word 'youths'. Until it's Jews being hit when suddenly they do.

How the hell is that playing the race card exactly? By pointing out the hypocrisy of the media in reporting this, suddenly I'm playing the race card?

Kind of a side note ... if you look at the videos, these are very grown up 'youth'. They aren't 12 or 14 years old. These look to be people in their older teens or early 20's. At least, that's what it looks like in the videos.

You REALLY don't like the fact that the Jews are being shown to be victims in this, do you?
What's your problem with the Jews?? Why can't you admit that they are being targeted

My problem is this has been happening for a very long time against white people and no one has given a flying fck until now, and suddenly it's the news.

Where was everyone when the homeless guy was killed recently? Where was the thread on that?

"Children" can be a relative term. I know some people who are technically adults who don't really qualify. Scary when they have the bodies for it though.

You didn't answer the question. How did it look like it?

Who says no one cared?

It was a big deal regionally when they were doing it out here. There were attacks in several locations and at the state fair. Maybe no one at ATS registered it at the time, but I know all the local talkers were on it. Of course, they were attacking a different ethnic group and not attacking orthodox Jews since we don't have so many of those out here. Maybe had they decided to attack either Holderman Mennonites or Amish, it might have garnered a bigger splash.

So far the perps are all inner city black teens. That is according to witness' and video tape.
The motive - the victims are targeted because they are Jewish and easy targets. That's it.

this almost sounds like an episode of the Power Rangers..

I'm not sure if it's a lack of information, but this matter seems either "spun" to be about "Blacks VS Jews" or there is a lil' operation going on which would require too much paranoid imagination to go into haha.

and I'm not sure if i'm just looking in the wrong places, but how DOES one spot a jew easily?? I'm Caucasian and I'm the first person to point out that the difference between "Jew" and say "Polish" isn't something I really "see" in terms of consistent physical features..

if anything.. you would think it's kind of odd that such a thing would have JUST showed up in NYC considering.. yanno.. lotsa jews been there for awhile

this kind of thing really isn't urging me to buy a plane ticket anytime soon, at any rate haha.

Even if it weren't a hate crime, where are the assault charges from someone assaulting another? Take the hate out of the assault and what you still have is CRIME. What, assault has to have an identifiable reason nowadays to be considered criminal?

I gave previous information showing that, in Crown Heights, it's mostly Jewish and Black residents and there is a long history of problems. This 'game' is new. But the problems are not.

This is more what i'm thinking... like every time I hear the news. I really don't think people's sentiments are where they SAY they are.. sure suffering and death "unite us all" but it isn't all out of compassion, but some out of sadism. This is why, while I do wish that people could empathize with the homeless and the PAST suffering of the Jews AND Blacks (I think that could somehow be turned into a very depressing competition to prove who suffered THE MOST, but isn't that beside the point..?)

I just think that these stories really only "tell" us almost *nothing*..

..besides "be afraid of gangs of black people in New York" haha..

which if I remember, isn't really a new message

Take a firearm class and get a conceal license. Defend yourself. When they wanna play "knock out the Jew" play "shoot a gang banger". Silly gangs. Don't they know the Jewish people are gods chosen people?

I'm sure the good Reverands Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson will soon make statements condemning this. In the meantime, I hope some of the intended victims turn out to be Yiddish George Zimmermans.

I just wonder what happens when the attackers encounter a practitioner of Krav Maga? I`d LOL HARD when they get thier a**es handed to them then. Incidents like this usually come about due to idiotic stereotypes and I just cant stand it. My best and closest friend is Jewish and is THE most sweetest and kindest person I know and none of the stereotypes pertain to her. Makes me worried for the future.

As I said, people in this area did NOT ignore it. But most everyone in the nation ignores us.

It was in St, Louis and Columbia and the Vietnamese victim in St. Louis died from his injuries.

And, like it or not, this game has a racial component to it.

Sgt. Pizzo noted that the attacks fit a pattern: "black attackers on a white victim -- and the victim was often an older person walking alone." In a thorough and sensible piece on the subject in a local arts and entertainment magazine, eight of the victims interviewed were white, one was black, and one was Latino. All of the attackers, or "players," were black. Some witnesses claim that they have white relatives who play the game and that therefore the game is not a racial issue. But anyone who reviews the reporting -- when race is revealed, at least -- will see that the attackers are predominantly if not exclusively black.

Like it or not, attacking Jews is just part of the racial pattern. They aren't black, unless we're talking about an Ethiopian Jew.
