I'm not sure why you are allowing people's beliefs to bother you so much. So what if they believe that Ison is something more than what's being reported, does it affect you? No, didn't think so. And these people are believing "some guy" just like you are believing "some guys" who state it is nothing to worry about, well unless you are the one making sense of the data and are an expert in the field/subject. One day, maybe tomorrow maybe 100 million years from now, an extinction-like event will happen to this Earth and I agree that 99.99% of the doom porn we see on here is just that, doom porn, but eventually the .01% is going to catch up with and going to make all the "doom will never happen to us" people look like morons. Say, playing devils advocate, Ison is on some crash course with the moon, which would ultimately cause Earth a sh*t load of problems, do you honestly believe the MSM would be telling us all about it?

I have a very good friend who is big on old Nostradamus. She's been sending me messages for months about what is coming and quoting various quatrains. She's also been tiddling about in the Book of Enoch as well as the Kolbrin.

I dunno... some of it is curiously connective but other stuff seems more than wandering.

No matter. Like December of 2012... if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. All we have to do is be patient and wait for it...

Scientists are proven wrong all the time. They call it researching and when they get it wrong they go back to the drawing board and try again. Ego has no place in it when your searching for the truth. Scientists don't operate on ego they don't care they want answers and if one theory doesn't pan out they try again. That's what they mean by experiment.

Exactly, it seems that there's a group of ATS members who love to derail threads where it's apparent the OP spent a significant amount of time putting together. I wish they would keep those thoughts to themselves so we could have a discussion on the OP at hand.

Posts have shown that articles can found all over the place even from the last week,

I would of hoped OP would have responded to those but chose to ignore posts showing his premise is wrong and there is no cover up in the media.

What is there to discuss, the OP starts a thread about a cover up in the media of Comet ISON,

a few posts give multiple links showing this to be wrong as it is being reported on.

Discuss why there many article yet OP is trying to have readers believe there is a cover up.

This is a great post!!! Very interesting facts you present! I have been wondering about ISON a lot lately and started reading heavily on it and watching ISON daily on many different programs/software. This comet should be huge news considering, but it comes as more of a shrouded mystery - given all that surround it.

What you say isn't actually true,it is in some cases but often not. Look how much stuff the Smithsonian Institute has kept from the public just because they don't want an alternative view on American history. Hell i wouldn't doubt it if The United States schools still say Columbus Discovered America, that idea was defended even though all the evidence was there to prove it wrong.

Why aren't the Olmec discussed In the USA. Why are the pyramids in the USA not discussed, why are archaeologists still clinging to the idea the pyramids were constructed with copper chisels, why is any one who discovers something different than the mainstream beliefs called a crackpot ?

Thanks, good animation.. Do you know what is so interesting about this? It's the fact that a comet would not be attracted to crash into the Sun but would somehow find some an equilibrium where is slings around it... Why is that?

The problem isn't the info people give to dispute claims. It's how it's handled. And time and time again it's handled with.... well, disrespect. Can't you suggest the OP 'may' have missed something? Instead of saying 'WRONG - LINK'
