America government has practiced socialism for many years, all those entitlement programs are nothing but socialized programs in which they take from the working able side of the population to pay for the ones that do not work or do not reach above nations poverty line.

That is socialism, but people have been drilled that this programs are social services and government assistance, that sound better, reality check, this programs are pay by tax payers in the working class.

EXPOSE IT TO SUNLIGHT

Seriously. It's a blood sucking vampire latched on to America.
Expose it to sunlight. Expose all it's problems and expose how it is unsustainable.
It'll turn to dust.

OR DRIVE A STEAK THROUGH IT'S HEART

Which will happen when all the inner city folks go to get their 'free health care' but instead
find out that they all now have a new expense to pay for ... their 'free health care' TAX.
And that if they try to skip out on this tax, they'll have penalties to pay and probably even
jail time to serve.

Or just keep up the ongoing PR campaign. It's clearly working:

Don't feed the beast, I haven't been to the doctor in over 5 years and I'll be damned if I'm going to be forced to buy unneeded insurance or pay a fine for not doing so. It will eventually run out of money if people who don't need it don't buy it.

Well, it seems more than half of US states will reject Obamacare and refuse to participate. Also, it seems *many* doctors are also protesting it saying they are considering quitting their practice because of Obamacare. There will be a huge shortage of doctors if this happens, more so than there already would be. People do seem to be rising up against this, but the question is will it be enough?

I do not get involved with partisan stuff as I am an Independent, but I do not blame republicans for shutting down the government over this. Obamacare will only make our health care worse, it seems. Besides, most people don't want to be forced to buy goods from the government or pay fines or possibly serve jail time. This is ridiculous, so I'm glad the government is shut down and I'm glad people and states are gradually standing up to this. I think Obamacare will fail, but I wonder what Obama's repercussions will be if it does. This must not be allowed to happen.

Thinking ahead to 2016, it seems Rand Paul and Jesse Ventura will be running for president. That should be interesting. I liked Ron Paul a lot and from what I have heard, his son is no different and I also like Ventura's views on this country too. Should be interesting.

A "death spiral" happens when an insurance company gets more and more older and sicker customers, which raises their costs, which in turn forces them to raise their rates. When they raise the rates, fewer and fewer young and healthy people sign up, and their proportion of older and sicker people gets even worse, and their expenses go up. Eventually, the health insurance program dies.

......Along with millions of innocent people. I got to give them credit. I thought hitler's killing spree took the cake. But these psycho's are more CLEVER. They've found a way to commit genocide by hiding it under the guise of Healthcare. Hitler would be proud.

Please give a source for "many doctor's" and which 'States". Hearsay is not reason or fact.

Again please, facts about how/why (with credible sources) this will "make our health care worse".

Source please.

Please don't state things as fact without back-up, preferably to original source material - not partisan talking points or heads.

ACA is the law of the land

Yeah, what happened to conservatives always blabbing "we're a nation of laws"? But they refuse to follow laws passed under Obama.

Obviously to everyone that can comprehend what is going is that the obamacare bill is completely unconstitutional and null and void..

Appaentely it's not obvious to the Supreme Court who ruled on it's constitutionality, nor the House or Senate who made it law, nor the Conservative think tank (Heritage) that propsed the ACA laws structure and form.

Its a TAX. Lets get that out of the way.

Article 1 Section 7

All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

ACA originated in the Senate.

I hope the suit brought against it for this reaches the SCOTUS. I want to hear how they are going to justify this crap.

It's not a matter of just not liking it, it's a matter of it being unconstitutional. It's a matter of people who live pay check to pay check, riding the poverty line, being forced into finding a way to buy into a plan, because they don't qualify for medicaid (and there are plenty of people in that position). It's a matter of jobs, hours, and wages being lost.

The ACA caused me to lose my job and insurance. It's not a matter of just not liking it.

Oh look another Arm Chair supreme court justice lol

If it's unconstitutional is that why it was ruled CONSTITUTIONAL by the Supreme Court?

If you can't afford it because you live paycheck to paycheck then you might qualify for Medicaid or you can get financial help from the Government. Many states are expanding their medicaid coverage, if you're single and earn less than $15,000 then you will qualify for medicaid.

If you don't qualify for medicaid and are single and earn less than 46,000 then you can qualify for tax credits and they will help you pay for your health insurance.

People want Obamacare to work, that's why the people re-elected Obama instead of Romney who was hellbent on getting rid of it and making everyone use "vouchers"

States Resist Obamacare

States refuse to establish expansion

Where states stand on exchanges

Obamacare forcing doctors to close practices

Obamacare impact on doctors

Doctor shortages

It's pretty clear that doctors do not want this to the point many are considering retirement earlier than they had planned solely because of Obamacare. Furthermore, this health care doesn't seem to be free at all and the possible penalty of fines or jail time, which has been known for awhile now. There won't even be enough doctors to see everyone which means everyone's medical care will suffer as a result. I haven't liked this from the start and there is definitely a growing resistance to it as it should be.

Since congress voted and passed this health care bill and the Supreme court declared it constitutional, the tea party hijacking and closing down the government because it doesn't agree with it, isn't exactly a smart way to change the law or sway more voters to join the republican party.

The U.S. has a failed health care policy that is reaping billions of dollars for insurance companies. This new healthcare plan isn't perfect, and nothing new never is perfect. Instead of trying to repeal something that has been legally declared constitutional, and setting this country back to a healthcare plan that is leaving millions without health insurance, and others with skyrocketing health insurance costs, it would be much more productive to let it take affect and change those areas that are causing financial problems for businesses and consumers.

To say all areas of this new healthcare bill hurts consumers and businesses is blindly ignoring aspects of this bill that will help Americans, not to mention some aspects of the bill that took affect earlier that allowed college students to remain on their parents health insurance policy until the age of 26.

Changes never take place without bumps in the road. Congress can take this current healthcare bill and make it better, but acting like spoiled children and having a tantrum over it and refusing to work within the law to change it for the better is really unproductive to say the least. While millions of families who rely on a government paycheck to pay their bills, and others are waiting for medical trials that can possibly offer some hope to save their lives, John Boehner is refusing to allow a vote in congress that will end this.

This country is ruled by laws, there is a right way to change them and than there is a wrong way. This is creating a dangerous precedence if this is allowed to continue. Shutting down a government just because you don't get your way can allow future party ideology to cause the diplomatic process to fall by the wayside.
