They removed all signup options after they changed the release date. Guess we get to wait another 2 days till we find out if its just crap or something else.

Nasa is basically like the boy who cried wolf,
how many times now have we heard of a BIG announcement and waited with baited breath only to turn around after the announcement and go "Meh"

If there is an announcement and it is actually even semi exciting to the average layman Ill eat my hat, I dont have a hat but Ill buy one and then eat it if Im wrong

I don't know about that. Maybe if your expectation for every NASA announcement is aliens it's always a disappointment, but for people who are interested in the study of space despite aliens, it's usually pretty interesting. I'm a layman, but if nothing else their discoveries force em to consider the bigger picture. I'm grateful for any new information that makes me consider possibilities.

I had to laugh when I read that, as well.

Had they read a few pages into the thread, they'd have seen that I..ummm *cough cough*..."reverse engineered" it already and found the meta tags which screamed hoax to me. They also would have known that the meta tags have since been changed and now only say "NASA.GOV" whereas they did say "Bilderbergs, FEMA, NASA.GOV".

I'm still sitting here in shock and awe that there are still some people saying, "well, IF it's real..." and the like!!! What the heck??? Guys, I've got a really bea-u-ti-ful bridge for sale...I'll let you have it cheap!

I will except nothing less than the following fictional scenario:

As I'm watching re-runs of "Threes Company" - When all of a sudden, "We interrupt your local programming to bring you this BREAKING News", your local news anchor is adjusting his tie and mic on his shirt while an off hand is adjusting hair and make up during live broadcast! "We've just learned that NASA is about to release some important news withing the next few minutes". Action turns to NASA where the cameras give a panorama shot of all the invited press members and NASA staff left to right. The camera zooms in for a close up of a podium and immediately zooms out. News anchor -" We're getting conflicting reports that scientists at the NASA JPL are about to disclose a historic moment for all of man kind". Action back to NASA.. a member of NASA wants to begin by thanking his staff members, peers, volunteers and many others. Moments ago I just ended a conference call with our president and leaders from around the world. We are now at the precipice of a new understanding of life as we know it in on earth and our galaxy. SETI which many of you are familiar with has been receiving signals of unknown origins and frequencies. They expressed the need for NASA's intervention with identifying the origins of these signals. With the approval of board here at NASA we collaborated with SETI and sent our best and finest scientist to this project. After months of code breaking and triangulation we've discovered that earth's own satellite the moon was the center of these signals. We've detected the origins of these signals to be that of the moon's dark side. Electrical pulses and microwaves are being emitted of which it has been determined that such activity can only be designated as intelligent. We positioned our high power telescopes and identified structures which are active with life.
