Good evening

I dont usually post on the ask the experts sections although I find them a great read. How ever I saw somthing in daylight surrounded by many others and have a question reguarding it.

3 years ago on a rather miserable and rainy day here in richmond I was on my way to work around 8am. While crossing over the james river near simms ave I looked up and saw an extremely large object sitting above the tallest buildings in the area. It was 3 dimensional triangular in shape no lights or markings except for lines that were more of a bronze color than the onyx substrate. It was huge and it stuck around for quite some time during the ride into work.

First question I have is: is this what a real ufo looks like or is this somthing normal I was just mistaking for an abnormal event.

Second: this object did not twist or sway during bursts of winds but I saw no thrust. How in your opinion could somthing so large compensate for elemental effects with out emitting some sort of visible thrust.

And lastly how do you forget somthing like this. It was a neat experince but the questions it raised are endless.

Obviously I have no idea what you saw. One of the biggest problems with UFOs in definition. They are reported as being little balls of light, hard craft more than a mile across, and everything in between. It is the variability that is a problem. As for forgetting, I'm not sure you do - although some recent breakthroughs in chemistry has produced drugs that can target bad memories.

I suspect we are already in the spiral, and they question is whether we can pull out. As I write this the USG has shut down. What is clear is that clowns in Washington are not going to be very helpful (and as most are already in the 1%, they really don't care about the rest of us)

I hope you enjoy the Movie. My question is a bit subjective, If all that is , is bound to this planet, then remote viewing, ufo's, and NDE , etc. are mute. Nothing ever leaves this planet upon which we dwell, neither energy, nor light , nor the essence of being, all that is or was or that ever will be, is now. I have often thought we are contained in a systematic module, I do not believe that mankind can handle the real truth, do you? Respectfully yours.

Gravity is great and makes you feel like you are in space. That actually gets to your question. Things have already left the planet and we are clearly not bound to Earth.

Speculated, yes. Hard evidence is hard to come by.

Did you have any relationship with him?

I did know Andrija. He had many interesting tales to tell. Unfortunately in his later years he seemed very paranoid. BTW he too is featured in the new book about Uri Geller.

My question is, what is your opinion on Colonel Philip J. Corso? Was he really a UFO whistleblower? I mean I've seen the interview and always wondered about that to this day.
Did we really reverse engineer UFO tech? or perhaps maybe this was a disinfo attempt?
OR...as I have fear, did he go to the grave laughing at our gullibility?

I just figured with a figure at his rank and time in service, one would wonder.

I knew Phi quite well. He gets an entire chapter in my book and it is called The Corso Conundrum. We knew about Phil long before the book came out. He was who he says he was, the problem is that none of the technology claims check out. We (NIDS) went to considerable length to verify accounts. I was with him shortly before he died and he was working on a book to fix the glaring problems. When his book came out I snet Phil a sever page letter detailing the errors. They ranged from small (its Adelphi, not Adelphia, MD, to huge, no, the Cold War was not a cover for fighting ET) That letter is an appendix in the book as well.

IMHO we need to look at phenomena more broadly. There is a tendency to confine observations, thus curtail our ability to study them.

Hi John,

Great to see you on ATS. Nice to have an out-of-the box thinker with probably more experience than anyone here dealing with the more esoteric nature of reality and phenomenology. I was skeptical of mind-over-matter as I never had any convincing encounter with it until a very different approach to it landed in my lap.

Since 15, I have had lucid and precognitive dreams. After progressing in these two directions they finally bridged so that I could have full lucid awareness during precognitive dream content. When I started to explore the potential, changing the dream content was a logical good step. It was through this effort that I was then able to see the changes materialize in waking reality when the dream came true, and in a very phenomenological way.

I've since been writing papers and articles promoting precognition especially after last winter when I had a terrifying dream about a car accident that involved my 3 year old daughter. Thanks to the dream I was able to change the circumstances for that event which proved to be life saving when the dream came true.

Nice retort, but I have looked at many of the CT claims. IMHO they don't hold up and no viable alternative has been proposed.

2. If so, do you consider it to be electromagnetic in nature?

3. What does the process of "ensoulment" before birth entail: is the soul fully fledged upon delivery, or does it grow and change throughout the course of one's life?

I noticed on you website you had a photo with Phillip Corso. I was wondering if you thought his book was legit. I noticed in a previous post you said the craft at Roswell was one of ours. I got the impression from his book that he was involved in reverse engineering from Roswell. What are your thoughts on this?

Was he involved in providing info for reverse engineering and if so was it from Roswell or sometime prior or after.

Just answered a question on Corso. As mentioned that is a chapter in my book. I hold there is no evidence for reverse engineering.

Perhaps you'd comment a bit on your view of the merits of the phenomenological "Hebrew" route to knowledge & truth in contrast to the "Greek" dissection, "scientific" method route . . . particularly highlighting your understanding of the strengths of each compared to the other.

So many hereon seem to think that phenomenology has no merit whatsoever and that ONLY the "scientific" method can discover "real truly truest truth."

The fundamental issue is that in the West we have a very constrained belief system. That is not true in other areas of the world. IMHO the materialistic worldview that dominates our thinking put serious blinders on us.

Thanks for the reply. I've never heard of Jack Houck until now, sad to find out via google that he has passed on. I'll look into his technique now that I have a point of reference. In my opinion, it takes first-person experience in this area to over-come the skepticism. Hard to dismiss once you achieve it.

It's a discipline to lucid dream, I still struggle after 25 years of it. It certainly opens doors and what I've seen through lucid precognitive dreams happily changed my life, and now saved it so I'm on very good terms with that topic.

Is it possible that even though you have been in military intelligence for decades that your really not in the know of subjects like ET, UFOs and Paranormal etc.. and there are some people who are in the know that have no interest in any of your interests and that is why you have not / cannot meet them and gain some real knowledge and insight on the reality of these fields of knowledge?

This is frequently suggested by people who have no idea how the USG works. That is a major chapter in the book. Pockets of secrets, yes, long term no. As they say in Washington, if two people know, its not a secret.
