This morning all the videos on my wall are gone?
I am sorry to say. Hopefully it is a tinker problem and all will be restored soon. I got faith in you SO.

I still have mine if that helps to see what kind of issue it is. I have one I think was pulled by youtube, but the rest are working. I hope you get it fixed soon.

Interesting. I downloaded foxfire last night and that is what I am using to browse with today. When I switched to Chrome, they are there. Dunno, I am useless with computers really. They all have an error message. Thanks for the reply.

You could try downloading the latest adobe flash player for your firefox
Or any plugins that you have that or out of date, you can check which ones are up to date here www.mozilla.org...

Download the flash player plugin (not activex), and install it. All will be well...

Flash plugin

Scroll down to "plugin based browsers".

Did you download adobe flash player or have it installed already? You have to download that per browser

Wow. Interesting. I checked, and my Firefox does the same thing. But Chrome has no problem. I'll look into this more, and get back to you.

Try starting firefox in safe mode and see if that makes a difference. If it does you can start hunting down the cause. (or you can just reset back to factory setting but you might lose some things if you do that so just try the safe mode first)
Hold down shift and double click your firefox icon choose start in safe mode not reset

edit for the obligatory have you tried turning it off and on again

Thank you! I am hoping SO sees this and it is some sort of small fix he can make. I have confidence you can find a fix if there is one to be had on our end. You rock!

Lol, yes to the flash question, I did dl it separate for firefox. Yes I did restart both the browser and my computer. I am learning as I go
. I think since it happens to Klassified too I will wait on the safe mode thing, I don't think it is me anymore. Thank you so much for helping. It is a puzzle.

I'm having the same problem with firefox too. Can't see the vids on my profile page, but I can see vids in threads. ATS is haunted I tell you! LOL That browser also won't allow me to sign in to youtube. I had to sign in there with IE. Weird!! OMG, we need the new emoticons soooooooon! LOL

Wow I just looked for foxfire browser. Dyslexic!

So firefox.. And you say you cant see the videos, or are they there but just give you an error?

I get this.

and I get that occasionally on the forum threads too. Sometimes it resolves itself, sometimes I give up.

Definitely a new thing since the change. I noticed it right away, and that was when I was still adding yvid tags manually. I tried the button - which put the exact same code in - and it worked. So I shook my head, shrugged my shoulders, waved my hands so as to applause for Deaf people and carried on.

There appears no reason for it, if the embed code is the same either.

Works in chrome you say?
I think firefox is becoming the behemoth it once claimed to be better than. IE used to suck. Now it's smooth. But it still sucks. Chrome sucks, opera sucks. But now FF sucks.

Yeah just tested it, works in chrome. Urgh. Why cant I drag my plugins over to chrome

Lmao, yep that is about it. I get the error message, and the big black hole. I can't make up my mind, foxfire, firefox, that browser with the animal name.
I am kind of liking it. I keep it corralled, unlike chrome which helpfully wants to own my soul.

Lol the haunted remark, probably it is feeling like that for SO right about now. Bless him. Little glitches, big aggravation.

There seems to be some debate online, as to whether this is a coding problem, or strictly a Firefox problem.
Either way, it's affecting a lot of Firefox users. In my mind, if it's working in clunky IE. It should be no sweat for Firefox.

I believe Mozilla dropped the ball on this one.
