Humans were around for 190.000 years, before Sumer. And even older hominids entered the scene, 800.000 years earlier.
Plenty of time for at least one group of people, advance way beyond what we can imagine.

When the fallen ones, or watchers interbred with the wifes of man, and produced offspring, giants even.
It is a scientific fact, that this is only possible, If these fallen ones, were pretty closely related the humans around, or the genetic material, would not allow any offspring being born.

They must have been from the same ancestry...

There you have it. No need for aliens, gods, and an earlier more advanced, group of people.

The best thing is that our genes actually hold the evidence Something like that really happened.

Here is the problem with that; for a species, culture to advance they absolutely must pass knowledge on to the subsequent generations. Using verbal tradition is fine, but, it does not lead to a very advanced society. Leaving the "written" word the best avenue for the propagation of societal knowledge, and advancement of technologies. There are no written records or accounts of those times.

True there are stories, even physical trace (ruins) of much older societies, however, their age is wholly unknown, and the actual "people" who might have left the ruins are a complete mystery.

Given the advanced nature of some of the construction from distant ancient times, it would seem more logical to think that it was all done by extraterrestrials.

My thoughts lead me to think that there had to be, an advanced culture around, way before modern man, to be able to pass on any knowledge and even warnings, all the way to our oldest known cultures who had to learn by passing on stories, until they could finally write it down.

Experience and knowledge from times way beyond our imaginations. Which is also the reason of the absence of any other evidence then stone, that survived the passing of time.
Everything from before the end of the ice age, won't even leave a clue, as it gets destroyed over time.
The length of time, in between, the human population, existing around the globe, are even longer then just the 10.000 years after the ice age, a time period where we do find evidence of humans living back then.

My point is that the easiest explanation, is that early man was responsible for all the stuff that we like to give an alien or divine explanation, and they've had the time to do so.

But it is just speculation from my end of course.

The new data also explains how the stories of the book of Genesis, can be explained, as well.
The events that could be origin of the stories, like flood, and the universal language, that got, lost and caused the people , who got reunited after being isolated from others , causing them having developed a different language from the others.
It explains how the first people could spread and reproduce, without the need to interbreed within the family.
Even the giants that walked the Earth and all the people around, needing a flood, for them be wiped out by God. Can be explained. As giant growth, is observed theses days, in hybrid offspring from interbreeding 2 subspecies of cat. A Lion and Tiger hybrid called a Liger for example.

Yet I can only speculate at best...

It seems to me, that they show the status, of the people, and a possible other human species, kept as slaves and depicted as dogs for there owners. Who could also be the same people, but the ruling elite, of the time of course.

Slaves have always been around in human history, and it makes sense that they could be used as status symbol for their owners.
If there have been civilizations around, when there were more then one species of human, co existing on Earth.
Their interaction with each other, could have been a variety possible ways. I won't be surprised if they held the other people as slaves, or if they were treated equal. Who knows...

Also, obsidian is quite easy to carve. Hardness doesn't enter into it - hardness is not a determinant of whether a stone is easy to carve.

For example, the hardness of sandstone is the same as that of limestone (in some cases, even harder.)

Do you believe limestone is as easy to carve as sandstone?

A much better measure to go by when considering "carveability" would be cleavage factors and toughness (an actual term) since carved stone is actually chipped out (not cut) when the carving is considered on a close-up scale.

Obsidian cleaves like crazy. As does granite.

The stories are to similar, to deny that the ancient events were not the sources used in ancient stories, that found their way in our religious scriptures...

Although highly speculative of course. The possibilities and explanations are however available, to explain where our ancient scriptures are now holding evidence that our creation stories, actually did happen, and even the unexplainable, became plausible for some things. Without God or aliens used for explaining stuff.

So it makes me happy when I can tell religious folks or ancient alien people, that the simple explanation is usually the most likely to be true, and that is that only humans and their history, will be able to explain the story, with a lot less divine intervention
