Neo-Nazis Take Over North Dakota Town in the U.S. – Native Americans and Activists Protest

I really do not like this kind of thing. I am all up for the freedom of speech and expression but people that cannnot tollerate others based upon nothing but skin colour have to much hate in them.
I hope the towns folk manage to drive them out..

A group of Neo-Nazis have set their sights on a North Dakota Town in the U.S. Native Americans and other activists have formed a protest to speak out against this organized act of terrorizing non-white communities, and Indigenous peoples of the Dakotas in particular.

Native American activists and UnityND have released a statement “Caravan leaves at 1:30 pm central to Leith, ND.” The rally at 3 pm Sunday, September 22nd is “to prevent white supremacists from terrorizing” North Dakota. The statement issues by the group says the rally is “because our children deserve a life without bigots.”

The Neo-Nazis targeted the community of Leith because it is a mostly “white” county. But the hate group has plans to disintegrate the Leith “into an all-white enclave.”

I can not say anything after this because they have the same rights as us.. Right to free speech so if i talk down to them then i have no right to say anything either... so they can spout all the crap they want.......

They should forget about white supremacy. Most of that mob should put their efforts into trying to loose some weight.
They are hardly "Storm Trooper" material

While I agree that most of these wannabe Hitler Youth will be pointing to the U.S. Constitution as a shield, I say there is not a gray line. If you willingly enlist to this kind of ideology then you should retake a history class or two. World War II happened in its own context following German inflation and resentment over the Peace Treaty that ended World War I.

Neo-nazi white supremacist group are just an excuse for bored people to talk smack about minorities and complain. Perhaps these are America's most die-hard terrorists. That may sound strong but if you put someone down you are creating terror based on inequality.

Whats even more Ironic is how Neo Nazi groups are so completely lost when it comes to the Nazi regime and what they were doing. Take the SS as an example.. By the end of the war you had SS units who were not genetically pure. While conquered countries provided military units to the Nazi regime, it was a stop gap measure until they were done with their conquering the world routine.

To an extent I agree with what you are saying about free speech etc. By allowing these tools to express their beliefs it serves as a reminder that other opinions / beliefs are able to be expressed in opposition. While I don't agree with their position, I am not a fan of trying to legislate how people think / feel.

To me this goes beyond free speech.. I think it serves as an absolute reminder of what can happen when people become apathetic about government, at all levels.

Nobody ever looks like Joe McCarthy. That's how they get in the door in the first place.

These aren't National Socialists. While Socialism may come in different flavours Neo-nazis are more radical than National Socialists as National Socialists put country's citizens first - regardless of race, creed, or sex.

I'm fine with driving them out, as long as every community that houses the Black Panthers, LGBT Pride groups (since they claim that their sexual preference is the same as being born of a particular race) and any other "racial pride group" chase those groups out as well; otherwise, who is being intolerant if that doesn't happen?

This group has done nothing more than move into a town, hoping to draw more people of their particular mindset to the area. They haven't "terrorized" anyone. Until these people actually do something illegal, singling them out is as wrong as it gets in my opinion.

Quite frankly, this whole situation is the same thing as a Black Panther's group moving into an all white neighborhood. Try to imagine a news article like this one being written about that.
Yeah, that's what I thought. It's ridiculous, because said article would never be written.

The real catch-22 of free speech is that you won't always agree with what you hear, and you are the one that has to adapt to things that you do not agree with, not the other way around.

To qualify what I'm saying, I am currently in an interracial marriage, with a bi-racial child.

Don't get me wrong, not a fan of anything nazi and these people seem to be.
But read the papers, blacks are shooting people like its no big deal, robbing people for cell phones and assaulting white people as a game...the knockout game.

Maybe folks are just getting sick and tired of putting up with their laxidasicual views on law and order.

***EDIT*** And as I stated earlier, I'm all for getting rid of groups like the Neo-Nazi's, as long as all other "pride" groups are eradicated as well.

Even with curtailed free speech, mentality cannot be legislated.

I dont think the EDL is racist. I personally think they feel the need to stop the islamization of their homeland. No more racist than CAIR..They push the islamist agenda in everything.

But back to the OP, I wish they weren't nazis...or maybe thats just a stock photo......there are gated communities all across the country designed to keep undesirable people out.
