One more question Mr Knapp (a much shorter one):

Have you ever heard of an agency called the NEIA or NESIA (National Exo-spatial Intelligence Agency)?

It doesn't at least officially exist (similar to the NSA prior to 1962 and the NRO prior to 1992).
edit on 19-9-2013 by JadeStar because: Got acronym wrong.

Hey, welcome to ATS. Since it is "Ask me anything", what is your opinion on the progressive legalization of medical cannabis? There are many facets to this subject, but in general, do you have any thoughts or long term global impacts if the USA federal government folds on this issue?

Thanks Cody! Glad to spread the joy.
But I was responding to Jadestar who had said;

I wish I knew how to start a thread here on ATS (been a reader for a long time and listener to both George Knapp on C2CAM and the crew on ATS Radio) Whenever I try I just get a blank screen. I guess because I'm new?

Did you think I was talking to Mr Knapp?? Or am I missing the joke???

My bad

Humble apologies I missed for whom the reply was meant

Cash-Landrum is a very impressive case, in my view. John Schuessler, who did much of he original, boots on the ground, investigation is a rock-solid guy, and I think his work on that one has stood up to all challenges.
At a minimum, there should be some official files somewhere that would explain what the hell all of those military helicopters were doing in the area. Even if you have trouble believing it was some sort of alien craft that was spewing radiation, the choppers that served as escorts were ours, and so were the crews. So where are the files?

Wouldn't it seem that it is a seriously botched government experiment, and the reason there are no files is because it was such a SNAFU that many people would have been fired, and maybe some sent to jail---and certainly getting sued.

Hopefully third time of asking this is a charm...

Mr. Knapp. I love your work. Thanks for taking time to discuss with us. I have a question. I am sure you are tired of talking about Bob Lazar....but. If Bob did snitch on the government, why does his company (United Nuclear) have contracts with the US Military? Wouldn't you think they would stay clear of him> I mean if he was OR wasn't a Whistle Blower, Thanks for your time.

Question/comment:
The C2C broadcast last Sunday was extremely informative about the NSA Clipper chip idea and back door programs installed in just about everything. Thank you for bringing current topics to the forefront.. Besides the NSA thing has anything else really given you a Hummmm moment??

My answer:

I'm pretty much appalled by the exaggerated sense of urgency surrounding the terrorism threat. We have spent hundreds of billions of dollars, have essentially trashed most of our fundamental constitutional rights, and have created the apparatus of a permanent surveillance state---one that will never be dismantled--all because a few hundred poorly organized nutballs wish us harm. We have put everything else on the back burner..everything takes second place to anti=-terrorism efforts. Yes, there are terrorists who wish us harm, but our response has been so over-the-top, so ridiculously overblown in comparison to the size of the threat, and we will essentially have to live with the draconian consequences forever. Our country is never going to be the same.

Does not ring a bell. I have never heard of such an agency. Sorry.

What do I think about the legalization of cannabis? I think it is long overdue, should have been completely legal decades ago, and not just for medical usage. It is a ridiculous waste of resources to put people in jail for possessing, using, or cultivating weed. being under the influence while driving or piloting a plane is another matter, but those laws could still exist without pot itself being illegal.

I don't know why Bob still has any government contracts.
I know that it was quite a joke among a small group of us in the early days after he went public. At the time, he had a contract to build radiation probes for Los Alamos lab. (You know, the lab where he supposedly never worked and had no knowledge of since, you know, he was not a scientist or a technician.) it took the folks at the lab more than two years to put two and two together and realize that Bob the radiation probe guy was also Bob the UFO guy. At the time, they were still saying he had never worked there, so maybe they did not cancel the contract because it would have appeared vindictive treatment and would have given some credence to his claims.

I also know that some of the things Bob has done for different agencies over the years--such as supplying hard-to-get chemicals or equipment--are not easily subbed out, meaning, there aren't a lot of alternative options where those groups could get the same goods or services. It's not like he has been working on their fusion reactors or selling plutonium but he has found a few niches that others have not filled, and it has kept him busy. The governmental entities he deals with, for the most part, have little or nothing to do with any of the UFO stuff. some of them probably get a kick out of doing business with Bob Lazar, the UFO guy.

My question to you is..what do you do when you need a break from your work? What's your "time out"?

At this point of my life, I don't get much time off. The TV work is very demanding and time intensive. I host the radio show and write a newspaper column and have been working on a book project. I usually have more irons in the fire than I can handle. I like to read--but mostly end up reading stuff related to work. I like to travel but rarely get enough time off to venture very far. I watch and collect movies, which is as close as I get to goofing off anymore.

I was wondering if you have been here to Australia on a case and if so what are the details that you can say about it.

I visited Australia a few years ago to speak to a UFO conference. There's a guy named Bill Chalker there whom I greatly respect and he and I have been able to swap notes on cases and theories. I've made many inquiries over the years about activities at Pine Gap because of alleged connections to Area 51 but was not able to visit the base during my trip to Australia. I loved your country...loved every bit of it that I saw (which was mostly around Sydney.) Victoria Bitter is not bad either.

Question:
I know your responses are limited on the Ranch, but were you or anyone else ever scared to the point of feeling unsafe on the Ranch? How did the natives treat you (and the area) when talking about the area of activity? Why didn't the government show more interest - are they aware of something we aren't?

One last question - what are your thoughts on the future, it looks grim although I try to remain positive- it's hard when you have kids. Global meltdown with the rise of government tyranny (some call NWO)? Perhaps consciousness shift/awakening?

Resposns:
I was more than spooked during my first visit. That's when the NIDS guys used me as bait, put me out in a dark field at night, in the spot where the "Predator" type creature had emerged from the bushes, then they went away to watch me by long-range lens to see if anything came to get me. Yes, I was spooked.
My trepidation eased with each visit though, and it got to the point where I really felt a sense that is hard to explain. I was both calmed by being there, but also energized. I felt jazzed on the property. I mentioned this to the caretaker and friends one day, thinking he and the others might laugh at me, and a few of them said they got the same feeling, that they felt "good" when they are on the property, as if there is some kind of energy there.

A lot of people--maybe a majority--of those who arrive or trespass have the complete opposite reaction. They bring their own baggage, expect to see monsters, and that's what they see (in their imaginations anyway.) People who come into it with a sense of dread or foreboding often have their expectations come true.

Getting the locals to talk was very tough. took NIDS a long time, and took me even longer. The tribe never did talk to me regarding the book project. Took me more than two years to win the confidence of some of the neighbors to the point where they opened up.

The former owner had said he spotted govt. types hanging around the property or flying over it, long before we came out with the book. Make of that what you will.

Question:
How do you get across to the normal Joe/Jane that aliens exist and have been in contacted with mankind.

Response: In the beginning, I was overwhelmed with near religious fervor about the topic and could not wait to let everyone know what I had surmised after immersing myself in the UFO topic for the first couple of years. I admittedly strayed from the journalistic model and crossed the line But that over-enthusiasm settled down after awhile. the more I learned about the topic, the more I realized how little we know for sure. The fact is, after 60 years of the modern UFO era, we are not one tiny bit closer to answering ANY of the big questions...who THEY are, why they are here,, what their interest is in us, there they are from, how they got here.
I think we can say with some degree of certainty that there's another intelligence operating here, that we live along side "them", maybe inside their world. maybe they have been here longer than us, maybe they are visitors. I don't know, and neither does anyone else. so I don't try to convince anyone of anything. This is something people have to embrace on their own, and at their own pace.

We took that same approach with the Skinwalker book. Some of the stuff that happened on the ranch is so preposterous on its face that there is no way we can make sense of it, and we simply do not have a theory that explains all of it...or even most of it...so we settled for telling the stories as accurately as possible in hopes that other, similar places would come to our attention, or that maybe some other smarter person might be able to figure it all out.
