How do you prove it's faked?

It haves 33 comments and the page seems legit w/ daily page format.

by the way Jerry states clearly :

(As an interesting side note, the Daily Mail yanked this story from their website just a few weeks ago, perhaps in anticipation of the recent chemical weapons strike. However, FTMDaily was able to locate the story through the use of archive.org)

I do not believe in you Sir.

Sigh.

about 3 months later after the news, the daily mail says this:

We now accept that email was fabricated and acknowledge there is no truth in any suggestion that Britam or its directors were willing to consider taking part in such a plot, which may have led to an atrocity.

How do we know the e-mail is fake? It was said:

The email had been published on the internet after Britam’s computer system was illegally hacked in Singapore.

For my point of view we do can not know if it's true or fake... but we do know, that took 3 months to dismiss a serious piece of evidence...

All strange. All Propaganda...

THIS

My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States’ policy is “what makes America different. It’s what makes us exceptional.” It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.

Good gravy.

A former Communist, KGB leader sounds like one of America's founding fathers here.
At least in comparison to the American President, Barack Hussein Obama.

That article sounds like something Obama would have written before he was President. I think it was meant as a reminder to Obama of what he used to stand for rather than what Putin would stand for if it were a different scenario and it wasn't in his interests to press for peace and international co-operation.

Well I don't think Russia is perfect either, but I trust Putin far and away more than I do Broncobama.
I noticed he mentioned at the end of his article we are all created equal by God, I was surprised to see him say this, although he is addressing us as a mainly a Christian nation, but what he says is true.

American news outlets only mention of this is that Putin said America isnt exceptional. They wont speak of anything else he said. Socially engineering the opinion of Americans who didnt read the article, but instead the article about the article. Frustrating.

This article is not fake.Putin is telling America they are not special.U.S. should counter and tell Russia that they don't do a thing to help stop terrorism in the middle east.Remind them of how terrible they did in Afghanistan to stop extremist as well.

I was wrong. Putin had done this once before in a plea to support action in Chechnya in response to terrorist activity in the region.

To do so, I ask you to put aside for a moment the dramatic news reports from the Caucasus and imagine something more placid: ordinary New Yorkers or Washingtonians, asleep in their homes. Then, in a flash, hundreds perish in explosions at the Watergate, or at an apartment complex on Manhattan's West Side. Thousands are injured, some horribly disfigured. Panic engulfs a neighborhood, then a nation. Russians do not have to imagine such a calamity. More than 300 of our citizens in Moscow and elsewhere suffered that fate earlier this year when bombs detonated by terrorists demolished five apartment blocks.Vladmir Putin, NY Times, 1999

Note that this article was published by Putin in 1999--two years before 9/11. Putin warned us of what the very same terrorists were doing in Moscow and that it could occur within the US. This address is an attempt to convince the US to either support or assist.

The same terrorists who were associated with the bombing of America's embassies have a foothold in the Caucasus. We know that Shamil Basayev, the so-called Chechen warlord, gets assistance on the ground from an itinerant guerrilla leader with a dossier similar to that of Osama bin Laden. And one of your television networks recently reported that -- according to United States intelligence sources -- bin Laden himself is helping to finance the guerrillas. The same terrorists who were associated with the bombing of America's embassies have a foothold in the Caucasus. Osama bin Laden. And Putin didn't say that America wasn't special--he said that Obama telling us that we are exceptional is dangerous and it is. It was the concept of the Ubermensch ("super human") via Nietzsch that fueled Nazism in Germany. He also goes on to say that every one of us and every country is created equal under God. No one is so exceptional or superior that they are above the law. In the case of the US, our president is using the idea of American Exceptionalism to stimulate support for what would be a military attack on a foreign nation in breach of international law. The US is not above international law--no one should be.

I spent a whole career fighting the 'cold war' for the US and funny thing, I like Putin way better than Obama. Putin is actually a leader. Obama is a pawn. NSA, Joint Chiefs, and Mossad are running Obama. Putin speaks for himself.

God help me...Putin is a psychopath. For effs sake he fed a man a radioactive cheeseburger for speaking out against him, he arrests journalists on a regular basis, has political opponents arrested and killed etc.

...Enough with the America bashing, Pres. Obama on his worst day, the USA in it's worst moment...the most corrupt politician in DC still beats the hell out of Vladimir Putin and Russia.

For effs sake...This is ATS, not some forum for the New Jersey Housewives...oooo...look at Putin!

Do you really think the United States Government is above arresting journalists. Even killing them.
Do you really think they havn't killed political opponents?
Its not "America bashing". It is the truth. And sometimes the truth is a hard pill to swallow.

Then review this list of HUNDREDS of journalists that spoke out against Putin that have been murdered.

Its not Obama bashing, it is the reality that the US government, republican and democrat alike, is not the beacon of moral authority to the world, like youre making it out to be.

And I love my country, thats why I am serving in the middle east right now.

No one is claiming that the US Gov. is the "beacon of moral authority to the world"...not outside of DC anyways, but we sure as crap are a world better than Russia. Putin/Russia has the number two spot in the world for arresting/killing journalist...China is first.

In Russia if you offend Putin publicly...you disappear, are found murdered or are arrested, depending on his mood.

And the BS of him telling America not to intervene in the slightest of ways, while he protects Assad's genocide and Russian arms land in Damascus International on a weekly basis is BS.

Youre right about Putin, and I'm not trying to make him out to be something he is not, but I agree with his opinion on this matter. Assad is bad, but freedom loving rebels are not on the other side. Lets be honest. They are terrorists. The worst kind. They kill innocent people just like the other parties in this conflict. They eat the hearts of those who oppose them. They kill those who are not muslim, including women and children. Terrorist of this nature are not above killing innocent people with chemical weapons in order to obtain help from 3rd parties.
Besides that, what good has taking down a middleastern regime ever done. Is Iraq, Afganistan or Libya better today then it was before we bombed them to hell. Has our intervening spread peace and democracy throughout the middle east. Is the world a better place? Back at home, have we become stronger? Has the war surged our economy? Are Americans filled with pride and patriotism?

This is just my opinion, but let them work things out themselves. The outcome of us taking Assads government out and letting the "freedom rebels" take control will be a worse set of problems.

Take what Putin says with a grain of salt. Don't let your mass hatred for Obama cloud your better judgement. Clearly you all do not believe that Putin really thinks God created all of us 'equal'

I'll refute his 'equality' claim with just 2 bullet points.

1. Putin's view: Russians > Georgians: www.dailymail.co.uk...

2. Putin's view: Heterosexuals > Homosexuals www.nytimes.com...

Shall I continue?

Judith Miller was jailed for 4 months: www.nytimes.com...

Numerous press-pass carrying journalists were arrested in NYC for attempting to cover the Occupy Protests. To name a few: Natasha Lennard, New York Times, John Farley, PBS, Bob Plain, WPRO Boston

Journalists—Myself Included—Swept Up in Mass Arrest at Occupy Oakland
Journalists detained at NYC Occupy protests
Tracking Journalist Arrests at Occupy Protests Around the Country via Storify
'Gasland' Journalists Arrested At Hearing By Order Of House Republicans

Roughly 50 journalists have been arrested since Occupy Wall Street started.
knightcenter.utexas.edu...

The US press freedom ranking as measured by reporters without borders dropped precipitously in 2011 (ranked 47 in the world) due to the sheer number of journalists who were arrested, detained and sometimes hit with clubs. It improved for 2013, jumping up to 32, but I'd say that the cause for that has more to do with the decreased amount of protests within the US for that same time period. I think both the protesters and journalists had quite the reality check in 2011.
Reporters without Borders: United States

I'm a huge fan of the First Amendment and good journalism because a free press is essential to democracy.

Right...So right now the USA ranks 32nd in the world for freedom of the press.

Yes, Reporters were swept up in the Occupy wall Street Protest arrests, and near immediately released, but still worth noting.

Russia/Putin MURDER reporters.

While the USA might rank 32nd out of 179 countries on freedom of the press...

Russia ranks 148th...

So how again is Russia better than the USA? Or Putin a better leader?

Again, Putin tells it like it is. We are nothing special. We pissed away special when we decided to pursue Vietnam. Thank you, LBJ, you jerk.

When we stopped occupying the higher moral ground we prided ourselves on we stopped being an exemplary country and started being run-of-the-mill greedy, war-mongering bastards.

Sorry America, but it's the truth.
