I've been having similar issues on Chrome today (only today)

When i try to do anything on here it loads extremely slow trying to connect to tags.expo9.exponential.com (known villain)
Please fix.

Any chance of being able to subscribe to threads on mobile without having to post
"subscribing to thread"

-Pages load slow or time out on me
_Never know if my post takes cause the page keeps saying 'inserting post' but nothing happens and the page time out
Have to open another tab, IF it will work and look at 'My ATS' to see if my took

-Can not post a new thread topic...the page is blank at top

-If a page does come up, the page is usually all scramble, it never fully opened right
Will try to post some pics if I can get them to upload
(getting the pages to come up is an ordeal for me...very frustrating)

Came back to add that my 'Messages' will not work either
Oh they show up in there but that's it

I use both FF and Chrome , same situation

I would start a new Thread to ask my question, But I Can't Start New Threads.
I also can not Post in a Members WALL!
Any reason for thins, Yes I have tried all three Browsers and I've always used Chrome.
I don't have any Ad Blockers Active either.

I sincerely apologize for making a second account, but I've been suffering a glitch for several weeks now and can't seem to get it sorted out or be able to communicate with anyone.

I can log in just fine, but when the color changes to the color of "being logged in" I cannot navigate from the home page and get a 404 error and it just bounces back to the home page. When I try to communicate with staff and click the mail icon, I just get a blank screen and no functionality.

This has been on several devices and both IE and Chrome.

I'd appreciate the help!

as you see when quoting my post, "window*fullstop*" gets replaced with "_".
clean the strings before you save them to you database.
It´s way more efficent, safe, reduces traffic and can break your whole database one day. You just don´t do this. If you collect apples, you sort out the bad ones before you put them in your storage. This way you do not need to check the basket everytime you take one out if there are worms in there or not. You do not need to carry the bad apples around and make sure your hide them from your guests everytime you serve them to them.

The timestamp that is shown when you lookup your myats threads that you posted differs one day into the past from what is showed in the threads OP post.

If you edit the last post on a page and it´s also the last post on the thread, you get redirected to an empty site because the script thinks there was a new post added instead of edited.

If someone replies to me on the first page of a thread and the next post someone does would be on page two, the link in the U2U I get will send me to the first post on the second page even if it´s not existing at that point in time.
This is consistent with the #2

If a member from the pre ATS star awarding times with zero(0) star count or NULL-value in the database get´s the first star,
they get a random amount of stars in the million range. Do not multiply or divide by zero. Space time continuum gets disturbed.

Hire me and I´ll have a solution to all those bugs above and two more bugs I will not post here because they are way more dangerous then #5. I sent the solution descriptions (as good as I could without seeing the code) to the site owner but they do not get fixed. If you have no time for that, you need to hire someone!

Some sites give out a bounty for bugs. I provided the solutions for free but If you are not able to integrate them into you code, then you should seek professional help on that part. Be it competence or time but you need to seek help now, not tomorrow.

So, I came on here to post about a petty problem I'm having with the Time Zone settings, (I've posted about this many times since I joined in 2009. I understand it may be something to do with daylight savings settings, but we're in a country that doesn't change our clocks... should there maybe be a yes/no option for DST?) I can't select GMT +2, and there are other timezones that can't be selected, without it auto-selecting a different zone..
Like I said, petty, but frustrating that something so simple doesn't work.

There´s a nasty bug in the account section because the timestamp is not resolved into the dropdown menu. I´ve also a solution for that :-P
Everytime you change something on that page, make sure you set the timezone again, back out slowly without fast movements and make sure you stay away from that page ;-)
Also make sure to click the apply button under the timezone dropdown after you selected it.

We are in contact via mail but all the time I´ve wasted on that alone makes me regret it.

That's unfortunate. I imagine it can't be easy to be re-forming and managing a website. Coordinating this mess, so to speak.

The closest I can get to GMT +2 is by selecting GMT 0 Casablanca... which, after clicking 'Submit', lands me on GMT +3 Baghdad.

If I select GMT +2 Cairo and click 'Submit', I land on GMT +4:30 Kabul
(As I mentioned, it's been this way as early as '09. Again, petty... If I could ask for ANYTHING to be 'fixed' on this site, I would ask for ATS to meditate and train on regaining the super-special mutant power of the middle-click to open posts/replies, etc in a new tab!)

Just select your wished timezone (if aviable) and apply. If it shows the wrong entry, don´t worry it works. It´s just a bug because the code to resolve and show the right index of that dropdown is not correct.

The real problem is trust, because you do not present your proprietary code to everyone. While it would help me and thus ATS to fix the bugs, it would expose code and insight to me. Problem.

Especially when someone nags you with bugfixes out of nothing, repeatly. I didn´t need to see the code to develop bugfixes written in words. If one has some years of experience in how things are coded, especially with user interfaces (GUI), you automatic start to recognize things. No tools except the source code viewer of firefox, a piece of paper and a pen used.

There´s also a bug that can expose your last geolocated entry point to the internet for everyone on ATS to read, if you use the wrong chars in you post.

So where in our own profile or on other's profiles can one see how many points they have? I just ask as I got my first applause today and cannot find it anywhere...Any threads I have searched seem to be many updates ago and profiles no longer look the same.

I have an iPad Air 2 with iOS 9.1.
Safari is my browser.
I am no longer able to star other comments. It will initially turn green and appear to have starred the comment but upon refresh my star is no longer recognized...

There is an issue with the latest iOS and some deployments of "AJAX" which we use for things like adding stars. I haven't spent much time trouble-shooting the issue because the Apple Developer dispatches (from five months ago), claim to be aware of the issue, and a fix is forthcoming.

I'm not sure if any of you have had/having this problem, but the 'Really Above Top Secret' forum is down for me and has been for a while.

There's been some sort of change overnight. I can no longer copy paste anything on ATS on my iPad, but this function still works perfectly from my iPhone. It works on other websites.
I use copy/paste instead of the quote function (and put " around text) if there's too much text in the quote, because of the sizing on these mini devices......

Safari, both are the newest Apple devices
