How do we know how many Muslims compared to how many Bikers there were since it's a competition?
oh, that's right... because it's on Fox News, the most reliable news source in the world.

Is the fact that this was covered on fox news and they came to speak on fox news a good thing or a bad thing.

I'm totally confused now. You don't watch Fox News because it's news. You watch Fox News to know who you should no longer trust.

Woopsie. I don't think that move was a very good idea.

The numbers for the Muslim march were reported on various news sites online (not FOX). The Biker numbers were from a variety of accounts, social networking , online news sources. You can get a sense of the numbers in personal videos from various sources on youtube.

Here are just a few of many sources in addition to numerous photos and videos posted via Facebook/YouTube:

www.huffingtonpost.com...

www.wnd.com...

newsfeed.time.com...

www.examiner.com...

Fox just interviewed one of the key organizers of the 2 Million Biker march.

I don't really believe in the accuracy of any mainstream news station. Fox just happened to be the ONLY one that gave more than 30 seconds of airtime to a rally of more than 800,000 people. (Not really a
"good or bad thing", but it's the only station that gave air time to an event that's a pretty big deal. Facebook is booming with personal accounts backed by photos and videos that show this rally was indeed massive, while it's quite clear the March Against Fear had about 25 people present.

Looks like fear won because people who are saying this was for Muslim rights in America are wrong according to the organizers. This video with some of the protests organizers say that it was in protest to US drone attacks on Muslim countries and about 9/11 truth movement, which makes this the most appropriate day to hold it. Now we know that the truth movement is not just a few people here and there but that many people across the nation believe there is more to it than what is being said. They have been beating the drum and rightfully so, for quite some time. They did not turn up today... and it isn't because there is support for drone attacks across the population of the US because that generally is not the case. That's for certain. It isn't because just a few people here and there think what happened on 9/11 is being covered up, because we know that isn't true. Maybe it's because they were smart. I didn't even know what the protest was about until just now looking it up because people have been saying over and over again that it's about muslim rights in the US (even though they can't hold a protest and that is a constitutional right) and that the name "Million Muslim March" had been changed in February according to one of the organizers. I can't vouch for what he says as being true, but I sure didn't read about it on internet news. I didn't read about it until it became a highly publicized bike rally and clearly they had a guest speaker already lined up to appear on Fox to protest the truth protest.

I am aware that right now, quite a bit of hate speech is being thrown around about black people and about Muslims and it wouldn't surprise me if this protest AND the hate speech I have seen was connected to The Nation of Islam which has a lot of black members. This is frightening because I was saying months ago that they were trying to start a civil unrest in the US. It was the smartest thing anyone could probably do, to NOT show up at a rally where you have bikers openly taking over the event and violence could break out.

It's all too clear to me that my suspicions were correct. Someone is trying to take advantage of a division.
I find this shocking.

What surprises me so much about it is that bikers all of the sudden, in droves... are against 9/11 truth.

I did not realize that. I knew they were affiliated with certain groups who are deeply connected to prison ministry services, but I did not realize just how open they are against 9/11 truth movement and the protests against the US wars.

I have to say, I'm very disappointed to hear that because I know some bikers and although some are openly racist and preach hate doctrine and are in secret cliques connected to the jails and gangs within the jails, I certainly knew that not all were this way.... but now it is right out in the open that they are against war protesters and they are against the 9/11 Truth movement.

I'd say it's pretty official and it has media endorsement all over it.

Dark day for American Freedom.

www.wnd.com...=Rid3FmZTqgnXQY7t2yrFGZaAITkh7MUE

Are you ATS Members aware that supporting the biker's counter rally was actually a protest against the 9/11 truth movement and against war protesters? Because it looks like that is what it was.

This confirmation is making my head spin.

Bikers... are against the truth movement, now *wildly* official.

Was ATS aware of this, so fact of the matter, in black and white, right in front of your face?

Well, hell, I guess it's all out in the open now.

Nice to see so many Harleys. Did see a couple of rice burners.

I'm a bit biased because when I was younger, the only thing we considered a real motorcycle was a Harley.

That's not true. The ORIGINAL reason for the 'Million Muslim March', the reason that they put down for getting their permit, was to march for equal rights for Muslims. It was for purely MUSLIM reasons. When that was greeted by the press and American public calling them out on the absurdity of it, they tried to cover by changing the name and the supposed reason for the march.

Marching for equal rights for Muslims in America ... it was absurd.
They already have equal rights with everyone else.

So, tell me just what rights do the muslims in this country not get that I get? Oh I see the right to scoff at our laws and live by the laws of their homeland in our great country ( ya I said great) and personally I have not been treated badly by our goverment, far better than if I were in the 3rd world countrys that these people have fled to come here and demand we change to accomidate them. I am so sick of all this PC crap, why is it we always have to bend for them? I think as a whole they get treated pretty well they have all the oppertunitys that I have maybe even more concidering their minority status.

PS. Not trying to start a pissing match with you dont take it personal you have your views and I have mine
Thanks Ed

Not one mention on either the local cbs news, even though there were riders from Lansing, or the world news on cbs.

Stupid media.

It's covered under the First Amendment. They have the right to assemble. There isn't anything that says the reason has to meet some standard of belief. That's why other groups who many in the US have opposing views toward are still allowed to assemble.

Edit:

Not saying they are not getting equal treatment or should get better treatment. They do get to use the right to assemble as does any American.

Allright now,I understand your point. They do have a right to protest but they could have been a little more tactful in their choice of date. I was disagreeing with the ignore them statement, we cant just cant keep on ignoring problem groups with the hopes that they will go away. their point to this protest I gather was for equal rights, right? just what rights have they been denied? as long as they follow the law of the land they are living in I dont see the problem.

Patriotic Muslims Protest 'Million Muslim March' Expected to Draw Hundreds on 9/11

www.christianpost.com...

"These guys are basically exploiting an annual commemoration of an attack in which America lost over 3,000 lives to radical Islam," Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, author of A Battle for the Soul of Islam: An American Muslim Patriot's Fight to Save His Faith and president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy(AIFD), told The Christian Post in a Tuesday interview. "It's part of this lobby of Islamist groups in America that believe America is to blame rather than taking ownership."

This post was kind of hard to follow, went on a lot of tangents, and somehow ended up in 9/11 truth and black racism territory???? Wuuuut??? I think I missed something lol. Sorry, I'm not following....

I was mainly commenting on the very obvious lack of coverage in the mainstream media for a biker rally of possibly one million people.

And obviously the Muslims picked 9/11 because of the terrorist attacks.
It was a tacky and stupid thing to do.

this...

attitude is perhaps why they picked this particular date
considering that 911 affects them too?

AthlonSavage
I think we should give the Muslims back the Middle East. They can all go back there and have it and the west will stay out. The deal is for this however the west will also take all our technology, that is any modern technology designed and built by non muslims. The Iraqis will need to dismantle their Nuclear program, all camera phones and computers confiscated, and no more medical surgery, no more modern technology at all, which includes confiscating all guns and ammo. They can fight with rocks and sticks. In exchange we will make the middle east a zone free of westerners.

ahh...

ignorance of history

The deal is for this however the west will also take all our technology

the technology based on the science preserved and disseminated by muslims
after the roman church burned all the libraries and books?

had muslims, particularly persian muslims copped that attitude
westerners might still be living in mud hovels

people should really start looking stuff up before they form opinions. Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth movement and drone protests were the reason for their gathering.

It's hilarious that the bikers don't like the current administration but is perfectly ok with it's wars.

I'm sure many of these bikers have been had and used as media fodder because look at how many people didn't even know what the real protest was. I am not surprised to see all the racist comments in support of the bikers on various comment sections about this. It's disgusting.

A lot of the 9/11 truth movement was started by survivors of 9/11 victims and to think they have no right to speak on this day seeking justice for their loved ones is just despicable.

PrinceAdam... I wrote out a lengthy reply to you but am not yet going to post it until I see a path of how you are going to understand the history behind US awareness groups, so I know how to give you parts you will understand little by little because if I write it all out, you're not going to absorb it all and will just dismiss it.

In the mean time, I'd say to try and research the background behind protest movements and separatist movements in this country and the stereotypings thereof and you will start to see a pattern that is juxtaposed to secret authority groups and racist and religious discrimination messages.

There's A LOT of ground to cover there... and if I started listing the examples it would take me forever and you would clearly be overwhelmed if you didn't comprehend my simple post. I'll tell you what...also start reading craigs list personal ads, that's just a tiny start...a tiny piece of what's going on here.

I have got something else to dig up that definitely pertains to this subject.
