So if Bush was an evil puppet then you would agree that Obama is equally an evil puppet?

Golly. How about a thread where everyone should rely on government?

I posted questions, do you have the intestinal fortitude to answer.? NOT ONE out of seven.

Wasting energy blaming a puppet will do what?

Dunno. You brought up the puppet meme and blamed Bush.

prove you are easily distracted and controllable.

I am not easily- . . . ooh! A shiny thing!

The House maybe.

The Senate not really since the Senate is made up of mostly Rush haters.

If congress is worried about anything it is midterms, they don't wanna lose their jobs

And Obama has only one job to blame Rush.

Here's my question: Is he wrong?

I would think that most politicians are more worried about being re-elected than doing what is "right". "Right" is all dependent upon the user. Certainly there are politicians that say one thing behind the scenes but say something else politically. This happens on both sides of the aisle. I think Obama is completely accurate, I just think it is wrong to label just the Republicans with this fault...Democrats act the same way.

This is all one man's opinion of course.

Well at least he's right on this...many republican politicians are too worried about what Rush says and what those lunatics that listen to him and other agitators like Hannity think. I realize that there are plenty of wacko's on the left, but I don't think that politicians on the left fear, say Bill Maher or any of those other comedians.

BLINDED by HATE.... for a puppet!

what are you basing the efficacy 'of growing a pair' with the matter?

end result any different. on this charade.. The guy 'with a pair' is somehow the better choice?

Iraq? Afghanistan? Patriot Act? NDAA? SPP? DHS?(what a monstrosity) TSA? (ditto)

yeah dude, growing a pair is a much better plan.. if you are following the charade of the POTUS not being a puppet lock, stock, and barrel

trolling is all you have..

I didn't 'blame Bush"

this has been clearly stated. Your little clique wont help

to deny that it is retarded to blame one guy for doing what another guy was praised for by RUSH.. which is the OP topic, is retarded.
Nowhere do I blame Bush..

that's it.. redirect to a silly play on words to derail from the OP topic.. that's ALL you have

""“One core responsibility""

""The other core responsibility""

I guess Obama thinks there's only Two core responsibilities eh ?

Probably not. But these ARE two core responsibilities outlined in the United States Constitution. There is no denying that Congress holds the purse strings for this nation.

I would have to hear the audio of Obama saying the above. But I imagine he said another instead of the other, which would make more sense. Because one of their core responsibilities is to pass a budget, another is to pay the debts of this nation.

Indeed... He did... and it's how that starts for people which is the point. Many way a man falls in life come from their own choices from start to finish. 100%. It's not necessarily that way for that area of life. I may not have believed it if I hadn't lived it with my own wife, but yes, they can have you on things like Oxy for years then, one day, without warning or options for help, say Nope! You're cut off... Good luck with things!

I'd consider personal bias in my opinions if I hadn't discovered my wife's experience to be common and increasingly so as time goes on. That's how to create an addict, literally by prescription.

In a world where even I cut precious few breaks in areas of personal responsibility? That is one where I pause for a look at circumstance.

The addict is to blame for what happens to themselves. A doctor can give a person as many pills they want but the doctor isn't the one shoving the pills down their throats. Blaming doctors because a person becomes an addict is just a cop out.

republican presidents after Nixon, were like teenage schoolgirls with daddy's credit card, with the democratic presidents coming in after them, and paying off the balance...here's a look at another republican lie.

I would if the context was the same in both presidencies....bush entered office with the best budget situation since WW2, Obama entered office with the worst budget situation since the great depression of the 1930's.
apparently, you do not consider that destinction important.

To some degree I think that's true and to some degree I think that's ignorance speaking of what it's like to live the process. It isn't optional or even a sign of weakness for anyone to be taking the pain meds, how the doctors prescribe them these days. They are the modern aspirin to overkill symptoms and shut up patients who complain. Got a back ache? have some Oxy... Got achey joints? Have some Percocet. It's really bad, but it's also medically directed in a vast number of the cases ...at least to start and right on into the addiction.

THAT is where the problem lay. When medicine literally directs people to do things that lead to addiction as a perfectly predictable outcome of treatment, then absolutely, they should have responsibility to assist people OFF what they've created.

The line can be as fine here as a patient taking more than indicated and getting out of control by that degree of personal choice to look down on...if someone is so inclined. Then will STILL have a large % of people who didn't do even that much to bring upon a prescribed addiction. Often, they are then met with all the compassion of Nurse Ratchet when it comes time the doctor deems you finished.

They cause the problem, they can shoulder at least a fair part of the burden to fix it.

The context and 'destinction' (whatever that is) may lie in Congress.

'Technically', based on the fiscal year 2009, the spending deficit could only be 3/4 Obama's.

But Obama signed the Democrat Congress budget bill from 2008 in March 2009, and then proceeded to increase discretionary spending with the blessings of Congress.

Bush never signed the budget. So 'Technically', the Democrat controlled Congress owned it.

So 'Technically' Obama owns it.

AND, He's had plenty of time to make corrections like he Promised to do !!!!!!!

The only reason we see a very slight drop in deficit spending under Obama (especially in FY2012)is because of the Republican House since Jan 2011. They truly ARE doing their best to help Obama look better.

Obama entered office with the worst budget situation since the great depression of the 1930's.

And it's STILL worse, and probably still will be when he Leaves office !!!
