The first time a crackhead ripped a chunk of my hair out I shaved it. It has it's "tactical' purposes. But what I really want to know, is what's wrong with having a shaved head? Please tell.

So I guess you could say that if a dude pulled up his pants, got rid of his gold grill and stopped using the N word in every sentence they may be viewed in a more positive light too. Perhaps a majority of mistrust has nothing to do with race at all. I will tell you that if I am walking with my girlfriend at night and someone is walking towards us I will change sides. It has nothing to do with race. I don't care if the person is white or black. It is human nature. It is self preservation.

Then you insult me and say if I changed my appearance I would have access to better jobs. I made the decesion to be a cop and am damn proud of what I do. I also decided to go to college and get a degree in administration. If I wanted to work in a corporate office I would simply put on a suit and do it.

The point being is that yes I believe racism against blacks still exists. However I believe it is a very small percentage of people. I also believe racism against whites exists. I have been a victim of it. I could care less if you believe me.

Now I am just ranting. If I was a business owner and was interviewing applicants for a new position and I had to decide between the well spoken black gentleman that dressed nicely, and a sloppy white guy that talked like he texted I would choose the black gentleman everytime.

It has everything to do with attitude and the way you carry yourself. Like I said I came from a single parent family who lived in poverty. My dad was and still is a drug addicted deadbeat. I went to public schools and earned everything I have. I just don't see how I personally have benefited from this mythical "white priviledge". And still nobody to this day has told me how I have personally benefited from it.

I just don't see how a black person couldn't accomplish the things I have, the same way I did. I guess that is the white priviledge talking.

I am seriously asking. My logic may be flawed.

So it is all right to put a mask of any other president but Obama on a rodeo clown I suppose next they won't be allowing skimpily dressed women at sporting events.

In our entire history, there have been 8 African American Senators...yes EIGHT in 237 years, Currently there are 1 out of 100 Senators that are African American. The last three African American Senators were appointed by their Governors after vacancies, including the one sitting member. That is 1% in the Senate, the previous Senate had 0 members after Obama left.

The House Of Representatives is a little better, but still sadly laughable. In our entire history there have been around 125 African American Representatives, there are currently around 40 out of 435. About 9%. The African American population is around 13%.

Looking at Hispanic and Asian representation is even sadder.

So when people try to claim that everything is equal now or that it is representative of our population, I just shake my head and laugh. And when you look at the history of this country, it is just sad.

9% compared to 13% is pretty damn close. Did you ever consider that maybe fewer blacks run for office? Besides, people VOTE and ELECT their representatives….blacks vote, too. You can’t legislate Affirmative Action in Congress and still call it democracy.

The point to that remark was this.

Some people see Obama using his skin color to cater to one race.
So these people will be hesitant next time to vote for a black man.

We need a leader who will help ALL people, not just a select few.
And one who will speak out against those who insist on playing the race card.
He benefits from that kind of game.
People will think twice about criticizing him over his policies for fear of being labeled a racist.
That's shameful to go that route to get people to shut up.

Obama has shown time and time again where he stands.

I'm an independent who voted for him in 2008.
