I have no intention of derailing your latest whine fest. You offered up your opinion that the NAACP is the 4th branch of government, I laughed and gave my opinion on what the 4th branch is. I don't recall that I need to agree with you to be on topic. Don't censor me bro.

If you want to bring someone else into the mix to take some blame, how about we talk about the MSM rather than corporations?

Despite all the attention given to last week's National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's resolution against the Tea Party, all three broadcast evening news programs completely ignored Monday's revelations of racist comments made at one of the civil rights organization's meetings in March.

Lmfao, that old bit of trash? You haven't caught on to Breitbart.com yet? Really? Oh right, you don't want to... you'd rather piss whine and moan about how racist the president is, facts be damned.

The funny thing is the NAACP (which has a waaaay outdated name) bought that Obama is black. He's not; he is an african-american that was pakaged very well by the corperations and banks. And the black population continues to support their "first black president". He may appear to be cozying with them now, but this is the same man who told blacks to stop complaining. He went to a university and scolded GRADUATING students about getting an education and taking care of their families. We have all been duped. Just remember it seems everyone is upset with him at some point except the financial sector, they are doing just fine.

As a blackman myself the word "colored" should be removed completely or better yet, just get rid of it all together. Its nothing but racist rubbish against other minorities.

That is something I can agree with, don't mistake my posts for support of our President because he damn sure doesn't deserve it and doesn't have it. I just don't have to resort to this nonsense to speak against him.

Facts be damned??

Another interesting bit of news about the NAACP is the dissention in their ranks. A former NAACP leader has been quite vocal about the direction of the group and what their real agenda is. It’s no wonder Obama loves them…..

Reverend CL Bryant commented, “As a former NAACP branch president in Garland, Texas, I was punished for my outspoken belief that as a Baptist preacher, my rights come from God, not the government. The NAACP has strayed from the principles of empowerment and opportunity. We are here to remind the leadership and the membership that the NAACP stands for the ‘advancement of colored people,’ not the ‘advancement of colored progressives.’”
www.freedomworks.org...

Rev Bryant also realizes the race-baiting that’s been going on and has denounced it! It’s funny that a former NAACP LEADER sees it but you dismiss it.

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”

“His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.
therightscoop.com...

It’s time everyone realizes what this group stands for….it certainly isn’t civil rights for all. They support progressive policies that favor one race.....

You know, I've come to feel the same way about that "source"? If a headline clicks to BB then I look for a link to click up to the next level in sources and get out of their site or drop the line entirely. They started as a reporting site but turned into an aggregate news site where they just massage, stroke and fondle the story a bit before re-branding it for presentation. So many are coming to be that way anymore.

Are you saying the NAACP isn't advocating the SS and DOJ investigate this incident??

If you're not saying that then Brietbart was accurate, no?

That's exactly all Andrew Breitbart ever was... but it's not exclusive to the right wing blogosphere for sure, I've had to drop some Left even Occupy (some not all don't get excited people) sources because they become nothing but hyperbole and OMG spittle flingers, nothing to be achieved in that what so ever. I'd rather stay focused and outspoken against drones, the NDAA, The NSA, targeting of journalists and activists, wars, imperialism etc... I can't have a freak out every time a Republican sneezes without a tissue.

YAWN…..

More distractions….you’re trying your best to make it go away, huh?

Brietbart was right….stop with the fallacious nonsense.

Meanwhile, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is calling for federal investigations into the actions at the fair on Saturday.
blogs.riverfronttimes.com...

The President of the Missouri NAACP is asking the Secret Service and the United States Justice Department to look into Saturday’s rodeo clown skit at the Missouri State Fair.

The Missouri chapter of the NAACP is demanding the Secret Service and the Department of Justice conduct an investigation into an incident where a rodeo clown at the Missouri State Fair donned an Obama mask before being chased by bulls, the Washington Times reported Wednesday.
According to the NAACP, the clown is guilty of inciting violence against President Obama.

This is your new tactic? Anyone that doesn't agree with you is trolling or derailing? How far you've fallen. What's next accusing me of shilling? I'll comment when and how I like.

Now I didn't say they fabricated and only a few sites on the internet have earned that dubious distinction in my view. Precious few. The worst turds in the outhouse, to be sure.

I just said they massaged and stroked and fondled. Most media just massages, but BB kinda goes full service with it. Not unlike some on the other side, of course. So, it's never quite inaccurate ....just often a very interesting way of seeing an event or linking things together.

Ummm....

They reported it basically the same way the other 3 sources I quoted did.

I know what you're saying but the outrageous part of the story was the NAACP's action, not the commentary by BB.

the 4th branch of government is either the federal reserve or the business roundtable, they have far more power than the NAACP has, or will ever have...... in my opinion, this is just another racist, bigoted thread.... and don't whine about "the first thing the left does is throw out the word racist"....that is exactly what I'm doing, and I'll keep throwing it out there when it fits.

You may have a point there. I find it hard to disagree.

Yes, of course you'll call me a racist. Everyone who speaks out against this obvious racism is either a racist or Uncle Tom.

I would expect nothing more...because I know you have nothing better.

Actually, Brietbart didn’t break the story. KOMU broke the story Aug 12th and Brietbart ran it on Aug 13. The letter exists and if you’d care to read it, it was quoted accurately. Your bogus Red Herring attempts have been duly noted.

JEFFERSON CITY - The NAACP contacted KOMU 8 News Monday afternoon and told us their feelings about Saturday's events at the State Fair.

President Mary Ratliff, who is at an NAACP meeting in Washington, asked Vice President Pamela Hardin to release a statement about the "travesty" at the State Fair's rodeo:
"We at the NAACP are appalled at the disrespect, and obvious racial display of actions about our President. The fact that we, as African Americans, living in this state of Missouri, would have our tax dollars used at a function sponsored by the state to outright use such a discriminatory action as a form of entertainment and feel that it's o.k. to do in spite of how it affects Black Missourians, and this country as a WHOLE. We are disappointed, we are embarrassed for our state and country and we are ANGRY.

What was the purpose of pulling the lips on the mask. Do we as citizens other than Black Americans, find amusement in calling our President a clown? Is this the example, or image that we want our state, or anyone to see, or have, when referring to our President? Would it have been funny pulling lips, and calling him a clown, had President Obama been white? We have these questions at heart, and anger in our minds (for the lack of RESPECT for our President). We want the Governor to make a statement against this type of behavior, and obvious racism, and to take the appropriate actions, by holding all responsible parties involved accountable, and held to the highest punishment possible, for this action, that is RACISM to it's highest form. This action is intolerable, embarrassing to our state, and an insult to us as Black Citizens of the State of Missouri. It is unacceptable, and in explainable, not misunderstood, demeaning to African Americans, and our State as a whole. We expect something to be done about it, and will not rest until it is done."
