I will say after reading the first post I was intrigued.
I didn't want to read the replies since I really wanted to try this and not have my mind cluttered with other people experiences.
I will say I am an open minded skeptic on afterlife, reincarnation, and paranormal. If I wasn't the least bit interested I wouldn't be here and definitely not on this thread. I am in search of my answers and for that I do search out things like this. I will never sugar coat things. I'm not looking for people to be awed by my experiences if I should have any.

So here is my first go, I just finished my session.
I wanted to really get into this so I put on my headphones and laid in my bed with covers on.
Through out the session I felt very relaxed I even caught myself snoring a couple times but I wasn't asleep. I was fully in Brian's session in that I still could hear and was listening to Brian's instructions, I never fell from Brian's words and I was flowing from one instruction to another doing the best I could.
I mostly just saw black through out the session, my eyes where closed and I was relying on vivid pictures to enter my mind. Maybe like a dream is? but it never really panned out.

I will say I had flash memories of today's events, Work, Family, TV. All good stuff, no stress with those things
I thought of a specific childhood memory with my father and was acting it out, it change to another childhood memory with my Aunt, whom both of these family members are deceased now, so I just went with the flow and enjoyed them. Unfortunately I wasn't getting vivid pictures, nor did the memories flow like a movie, it was more splochy like if I think of the memory right now when I'm writing this.
I'm not sure how this stuff works but it didn't meet the expectations I was hoping for.

I tried going to prenatal and could visualize a embryo but that was all. Probably because I went back in my memory on some discovery channel documentary. I don't know.
Then came the door,
I did not experience anything on the other side of the door.
I did see a flash pictures one was of a woman in her 70's but I did not feel any connection to this person at all. I actually tried and successfully seen the flash of the woman again, and I can confirm I felt absolutely no connection other than thinking this lady would fit in the Golden Girls sitcom.

so unfortunately tonight I was one of the 50% who did not experience anything.
I was relaxed, I did follow along with the session
My childhood memories were not vivid, I was hoping for a clearer picture, I will say most the time I just saw black

Brian Weiss said sometimes it takes practices so I will try again tomorrow.

Yes, don't stop just because the first time didn't meet your expectations.

I have also read that sometimes beginners will start out with only noticing fragrances/odors, or feelings, or something milder they recognize, but as the person keeps practicing, the pictures/movies will develop... eventually.

Your experience was similar to mine. I'll just keep doing it until I get some kind of major revelation.

ETA: Sounds like you didn't clear your mind enough either, because you were allowing the day's events to cloud your thoughts. Maybe you need to practice on that for awhile?

At the point of death I saw a round domed building with a massive stone archway I was viewing it from the ground. After that I could see a strange looking person (Spooky in fact his top lip was missing) looking over me mouthing words but I could not hear...

Quite, Quite Relaxing though.

DreamerOracle, I was going back over some to the posts and noticed I neglected to thank you for coming to us with your experience. So I'm doing that now. You had some vivid memories too. Great!!!
Do you see anything about that life time that pertains to your current lifetime? Any lesson there for you?

I have yet to meet a client on a first incarnation.

How would you know if a client was on their first incarnation?

If they couldn't remember a past life, that could explain it, or it may simply be they can't recall a past life, as I suppose many people can't.

I have not been able to get time to do this yet...am very intrigued....will have to "find" the time.....I know there is something to it...hey....op...have a thought/question....do you believe that an life ending injury can leave a scare on your present incarnation ? I have had "visions" in my head for years of horses and knights..one day,long after these visions started,i noticed a vertical marking under my right rib cage....right where my liver is...if a broad sword were to be stuck in this spot...it would leave this size scar my niece...has a "birth mark"on her chest,right where her heart is....and the kicker is...she has the same marking on her back right opposite of the one in front...almost like she was shot with a gun or something ...soo...what is your take on this...

Well I tried this out and didn't see anything! I saw darkness, I think he moved too fast, as I was trying to visualize what he was saying he would move on to something else. So all I saw was darkness, I think it takes me a long time to concentrate on one thing, and I guess I am not as visual as i thought. The only thing that happened was I came out in tears, which is odd. I don't know why. Oh well, it doesn't work for everyone.

I watched the videos in your OP.

There are rare cases when a human life is terminated prematurely (un-natural death) and the soul comes back to another human life to live the rest of the years. However such cases result in early death as the life is truncated.

I shall have to research this a bit more. The information provided by you is thought provoking. However I want to warn you that spiritualism has meaning only when the person actually experiences it. I would like to know about your own experiences rather than a youtube video.

Yes, I have read many cases where people have marks on their body where some trauma was caused in a past life.

I'm glad I gave you something to think about.

I have attempted this a couple of times and both resulted in some serious power naps. I don't know if I just get thrown back into the classroom, you know that one teacher who always wanted to use the over head projector and turn the lights off as he doled out a monotone presentation? I don't think chewing gum and sucking down caffiene drinks is the answer but I can't think of anything else at this point. I'm open to suggestions if anyone had the same problem and found a way around it.

I once heard something about books you have read or movies you watched may have some influence on what you see during these regression things. Has anyone tried it and had that happen?

I think the feeling of "knowing" is confirmation for each individual. And in the case studies done by Dr. Weiss, and also, Robert Monroe, have documented proof that the people and areas described did actually exist.

But, I suppose unless it happens to you, it would be hard to say it is a truth.
I think it is a personal truth we each have to experience to confirm our own belief.
