I hope the designation "one hit wonder" implies only that they are most well known for a single song, rather than poor musicianship. Because many of the artists in this thread - including my two cents below - are very accomplished musicians and bands with long careers, even if they aren't widely known beyond said single song.

Meaning the group or band had only 1 hit..

Scorpions do not qualify nor do some of the others..

One of the best under rated bands out there. Every single one of their songs grows on you and your just left in amazement... wow. Just beautiful music... if I had a choice to listen to just one band for the rest of my life, The Church would be it.

Another 'after going solo' single hit, I think the whole album was great.
