Looks like it could be a fuel dump to me, possibly from the Centaur rocket system......I'm trying to find out if there was a mission around the beginning of 2012.

It's not identical to the video in this image.....but if it's "possibly an inter-dimensional portal" then it's certainly possible it's a fuel dump!

More circular in this shot

What I find puzzling about it being a failed missile test is, Obama was in the same place collecting a peace prize award. Russia setting off missiles near an American President??

Exactly, with social media the way it is, there would be MUCH MORE discussion about these instances as they happen, with thousands able to look up and see them. So where are all the Twitter discussions from these areas about these things when they happen?

That alone tells me that the vast majority of these "unexplained events" are actually faked, or at the very least exaggerated beyond belief.

I'll believe in this kind of thing when I actually see evidence that cannot easily have been hoaxed.

I never advocated that they were portals - I think that's an ill assumption also.

But so is claiming it is Sirius - It really does NOT look like a star - even if you are partially sighted lol.

That is CERTAINLY more likely than a UFO portal, wouldn't you agree?

It's just a party laser. On standby, it makes a ring-like shape as the source is motor-powered.

I believe the portal is a bright Star possibly Sirius but there are several to chooses from , the black spot in the centre is an artifact of the camera .

Here is a photograph of Sirius..

Here is a photograph of the ring

I really cannot see much similar between the two...

So the same camera was used to take the images to compare?

Before I even clicked the link I knew this is what was going to be talked about. ATS needs to fix their search function.

The spirals been discussed a multitude of times, and if you don't know what they are by now...go dig up some old threads on them. They're chalk full of any information of them you might need.

Maybe the portal anomalies have something to do with H.A.A.R.P or other similar devices.

Just a thought. I mean who knows what "They" are capable of these days. LoL

They're not capable of much considering they are not being funded anymore.

Ive seen these before through my telescope. The reason I saw these, is because it wasnt focused correctly. Plus the supposed portal, moves just like a star would in a telecope at a high magnification, only because the earth is rotating,

Your link does not work. Nor does your explanation explain the colour hues in the image or the other images in the video..

Stay of the purple man,

It seems to have warped your view a little.

The moon is the second brightest object in the night sky.

excuse me for having another blonde moment,

So whats the brightest object in the night sky?

Well i find it odd an alien race would only open the portal at night and not in the day, it would be less visible during the day

Anyway though i just wanted to respond to that. Its always daytime somewhere so if Aliens really were opening a portal in the upper atmosphere it would be visible at night to a region somewhere on earth no matter what.

Now on the thread itself.

I personally love these types of videos i always watch them and hope for the to be real even though most of them are not. This particular video is cool, i read through the posts and i see some questions about what would be causing the rainbow lighting affect. I hypothesis that this affect may be caused due to energetic charged particles colliding with the atoms of this object in high altitude atmosphere, the effect you see with northern lights.

I cant speculate as to what this object really is, but the possibility of a dimensional portal of some kind is possible, it could also be some sort of faster than light traveling device, or some sort of artificial black hole (maybe the rainbow ring around it is some kind of super advanced containment field).

I guess all we can do it speculate, very cool though

The Bulava was launched from russian teritorial waters and head east to Kamchatka, never crossing any other country. It was high enough to be seen, backlot by the sun, a thousand miles away.

The spiral does not appear to have been a result of a failure, since solid rocket motors need some way to 'dump momentum' on shorter-than-max-range flights [as this one was]. Watch the quality videos and you'll see two opposing plumes emerge simo, and later, cut off simo. Looks controlled to me, venting plumes sideways.

The reason you do that is that unlike liquid fuel systems, there's no way to turn OFF a solid rocket once it ignites.

The announced failure seems to have had more to do with final warhead guidance.

When I first saw the video of the ring in the rainbow colors I instantly thought of the Norse Legend of the Bifröst otherwise known as The Rainbow Bridge.

An out of focus shimmering star is the most likely the culprit but...what if the Bifröst were real?

The fiery Rainbow bridge was the gateway from Asgard (Home of the gods) to Midgard (Earth), protected by the powerful Heimdallr always on guard against the jötnar (Giants)

Wrongly thought of as the Milky Way (when does the Milky Way look like a rainbow?). No Körmt and Örmt were the Milky Way that Thor had to wade through to get back to Midgard.

Bifröst is either a natural phenomenon (like Saint Elmo's Fire) or an actual portal. In the myth of Ragnarök(Twilight of the Gods not shiny vampires...) the world will be sent through turmoil when Loki is set free, the Giants will return via the Rainbow Bridge and the Bridge will be destroyed! Then the Earth will be burned with Fire and only 2 humans will survive to repopulate the planet...

I kinda like the Marvel Movie version better...

So without actually debating the issue of what the user posted other users are thinking that they are experts and already calling it an Hoax? whats next bring out "P" user whom would say.

Its only from an Rocket Lunch.

But i do know stars, rockets dont nor cant they make such rings or shape spares shapes in the skies.

Interesting thread op.

Think about a photograph.
Or a movie screen.
Or a live projection.

Now stretch it sideways. Eveything looks flatter now.

Now that it's stretched sideways, stretch it also in a circle.

Try now, to watch this ring, frame by frame,
like you would watch a photo, movie or a projection.
Remember, whatever you see now, is stretched in a circle.

Do you see?

Do you see?

Lay off the krokodil, man. We have no idea what you're talking about.

Don't have a clue as to what these are (or if "real") but anyone see the correlation to that "eye" looking thing and the Bentwaters AFB case ... where the commander reported that eye shaped thing "dripping molten metal?"

If "real" then I'd venture an atmospheric phenom like the northern lights, or at least plasma based, for the rings anyway... dimensional portals is just reaching.

I'm not going to speculate as to exactly what this is; however, I know that there are many atmospheric phenomenon that look fantastic but are actually caused by quite mundane processes. I agree camera effects or hoaxes are also possible. Also, new technology used by a subset of humanity would need to be ruled out before I'd begin to consider anything extraterrestrial. I think the video concluding them to be "dimensional portals" was a premature conclusion given the limited nature of the evidence.

If that's Sirius then I'm Santa Claus...

I think we're getting into the habit of deeming anything anomalous as a camera glitch as it is the easiest and most convenient explanation to trot out as it doesn't require any effort. We need to get out of this boring and ubiquitous explanation and try and analyze the images more seriously.

I'm not saying it's an 'inter-dimensional portal' or some such esoteric phenomenon. It could be a natural atmospheric phenomenon too. However, this one is intriguing.

Thanks for posting!
