In order to understand the bible today one must translate from the ancient Hebrew. All languages change over time, and because of this there are 3 known types of Hebrew. Ancient, Middle, and Modern. The first 5 books of the Holy Bible were written in the Ancient Hebrew.

Below is the correct translation from the ancient Hebrew to English regarding the tower of Babel. It is from the, "Revised Mechanical Translation Of The Book Of Genesis."

The bibles is not 6000 years old, what we are reading today and what people interpret from it are only 300
years old, from the time that the "King James" version was introduced with all the inaccuracies we know it contains.Then there is the "Good news" version, which is another bastardised version again.

Interesting find I give you that. I think whoever first came up with the saying was right.

That shouldn't be a bases on how factual the bible is though.

Even a broken clock is correct twice a day but it usefulness is 0 for its intended purpose I would say that is a pretty good analogy for the bible.
