Whether it is "word" or "language"...........it doesn't really matter, If you have read the Bible and listened to Bible scholars then you would know that most of the text isn't meant to be interpreted verbatim (word for word).........
so even if the word is "language"........it doesn't mean that it was necessarily meant as literally speaking the same language, but more of a shared goal, concept, idea or way of thinking.

Have you never heard the expression " Now you're talking my language?".........it doesn't mean they share the same language, but they share the same likes.

I do not think it is anything that awesome... i mean he just said what is true....

He probably encountered people in that time who had different languages and different cultures... and he probably aw them fight each other because they are different.. .so he was like... "man only if they people work together, we can build a better hut for my goats" etc etc


You are probably trying to integrate modern understanding into the quote too much... you assume he meant people from different countries coming together... heck, he probably would not any other countries existed overseas... just like how flood in the story... it was probably a localized flood... for them it is "worldwide".

If i go to some village and ask a goat herder... how do you think the future would be in 50 yrs.... he would say "flying car and tall buildings...." what if we do build tall buildings and flying cars? would he be a god like being?

Uh no, it wasn't a bronze age goat herder. It was God speaking, recounting it for Moses. Yes look at the technology we have accomplished, and someone always weaponizes it and uses it to murder millions. Abortions, pornography, war. Everything we have accomplished was engineered to satiate our own carnal desires and everything we do has become corrupted. Whats that? Medical technology works wonders? Then Pharmaceutical corporations come in and instead of making cures, they make half assed treatments to satiate their greed.

lol I support you brother and agree wholeheartedly. On many days I would relish this type of debate but it's 95 degrees here today and *"hell" feels a little too close to home.
