To each their own I suppose... I've read the satanic bible, and most of Crowley's library as well...

Both were very intelligent men, Crowley was brilliant! Though both were quite deceptive...

I've never believed in "the devil" but after reading some of their material I questioned the idea...

It's funny how these people like Crowley have become this weird Satanist. When he probably was a completely different person. I'm just grasping at straws. But a lot of people like to paint the picture in their own way. I doubt there is a devil or a Satan out there. Like how the Church of Satan doesn't believe in Satan.

I currently own several books about Buddhism. I'll browse through them and see if the quotes can be found within them.

While not technically a quote by "God," i still find this one of the more powerful verses from the Old Testament. It comes from the book of Ecclesiastes, whose author is still debated to this day.

"Better is a handful with quietness than two hands full with much toil and chasing after wind." - Ecclesiastes 4:6

Hah! Yeah, it's actually not much of a prophecy as I took it waaaay out of context. This was the middle of an exchange she was having and she was threatening the other with a zombie apocalypse. It wasn't a prophetic promise to humanity but it still ups her cool factor just by virtue of being a goddess who threatens to "let the dead go up to eat the living!"

You would have to apply that logic to every historical figure, if that's the rationale. How to you really know that anybody said anything except by people attributing words of others?

Did you personally hear Einstein speak? Then everything they say he said is only "attributed" to him.
