I'm surprised ATS allows such blatantly racist posts while censoring others. Kind of ironic.

It's hard to be illegal in a land that originally had no laws. Also, it's hard to steal from those with no concept of ownership.

The entire premise of this thread is facetious.

The original human inhabitants of the Americas did not own the land, they believed that the land could not be owned. This means that the Europeans didn't steal the land, the Europeans conquered the native inhabitants and took what was theirs by right of conquest.

This means that, by the only laws that existed at the time, those of the European monarchies, the various crowns "owned" the land they had taken and whatever land they could continue to conquer.

This being said their is also the point that any person of European descent who's family has been in the Americas for more than 3 generations and has intermarried with other Americans probably has a portion of native blood in their genetic line, so are connected to the land in that way as well.

You will note that at no point in my argument have I used the term "Native American", this is just another PC term intended to divide people. If you were born on American soil then, by definition you are a Native American.

I think he would be ( and i would be too) happy if Caucasians and every other cultural group learned more about their history and were at least to some little extent aware of the crimes of their ancestors. At the very least this may help us to act in such ways that it does not happen again and best it will prevent the vast arrogance that is still displayed by our largely Caucasian contribute base. While we can mostly agree that something is terribly wrong with human affairs as it stand few seem to wish to admit that the corporate capitalist class that runs this world is for practically all purposes Caucasian; the corporate capitalist hell whole that the world has turned into is ON US and if we can't admit at least that much the solution is going to keep on eluding us.

Western 'culture' has led us here so good luck seeking for Caucasians who bear no measure of responsibility for the state of the world.

Then we should apply that logic to all the land on Earth.

If people from the U.S. go down to Mexico and start building and developing the coastal regions, then we should have the right to do so, and if the Mexican government show up and tells us we have no such right, then we should tell them such, right?

And if the Mexican government tries to use force to remove us from the land, to which we have a right, then we also have a right to defend ourselves.

Say you build or buy yourself a nice home, and some one sees that place, and decides that they want to live there, so they put up a lean to in your yard and make themselves at home, they have a right to that soil same as everyone else?

The people who built the great nation of the U.S., where everyone wants to live, should have some right to what they built, wouldn't you say?

Some people are obviously more easily confused than others! The caucasian American middle class have almost entirely sold out their independence for the dream of living in the suburbs and while i do not hold 'us' personally responsible collectively we have really really failed not only ourselves but much more so the third world where capitalism is practiced in it's most brutal forms. Very few of the moderating effects Americans and Europeans have achieved trough two centuries of constant struggle against the forces, that have now largely taken over the world, is seen in the third world but we wont have to wait as our dear leaders are now bringing the third world to us having rid themselves of any significant socialist and communist organized resistance.

I don't mind a little guilt for the sins of my father while i drink my tea and have some cake in front of the pc... I can take it but if your emotional situation is so delicate perhaps you should not mess around and accidentally go off the deep end. I quite enjoy our occasionally chats even if i really do prefer them on the many occasions when we are in fact in agreement.

The problem with reading history is that not all of it is accurate, true or contextual! We can ALL read history and given how much of it is utter junk it's no surprise that people can be both informed ( since they did actually read books) and utterly ignorant of what actually happened. I have certainly been there and i certainly do not believe all the things i read 20 years ago in primary school.

Why are you using America as your hyperbole when the whole world has borders. If anything America has some of the most unsecured borders in the world and our basic freedoms that you do not need to provide "papers" unless there is reasonable suspicion that you might be breaking the law also allows 10s of millions of illegal to live here too. Try that in Mexico, France, China, Japan etc etc...

Your borderless utopia is a long way off (or a long time ago) since the whole world has borders...not just us, and unfortunately as the population grows it will only get worst.

The previous owners of the US chose for the US to be white only. This is the way it should stay. The British also had very good relations with the native indians.
