I suspect we're not talking about a full blown Close Encounters of the Third Kind jamming session.
Repetition of same for same or repeat then variation? Mimicry or learning?
the perspective though, as you say, distorted, comes from within the biosphere and seems to be directed to within the biosphere...
in our evolutionary quest for short-term individualistic survival we have over ridden some processing abilities required for longer term adaptations, that does not mean that we are incapable of understanding the signals being communicated to us by re-engaging with those faculties.
The process with which I imagined my "Temporal Snicket Maker" to work utilises naturally occuring bio-chemical processes driven by EMR and NIEMR interacting with each other.

Interesting view, Anaana. The problem here is that when a planet has intelligent life, there is another new layer entering the contact equation: the noosphere. Much as you can learn a lot of a civilisation by simply studying the garbage, the wastes, the dumping sites, you can learn a lot by analyzing the signals. Archaeology, in a way, is just the study of garbage dumps, and graveyards. We need to also study communications graveyards, so to speak. Beacons are just that: garbage dumps, albeit quite sophisticated ones. I wonder how does the garbage dumps of a noosphere look like.

Actually, some people have the view that because some species can only communicate within a higher state of consciousness, there is then a need for one of the species to "tweak" the minds of those with whom they wish to communicate. According to this hypothesis, you need to "hack" somehow the individuals you wish to establish contact with. A direct way would be to abduct an individual and implant the required tools to get his/her
mind to enter into that higher level of consciousness. Fillings of MgAl (magnalium), with a specific submilimiter size, can do the job, if they are located in specific areas of your body, they say. They then just need to make those fillings oscillate when exposed to radiation in order generate electric pulses, triggering neural activity in the individual's brain. Basically, it is like implanting crystal oscillators inside your body. They will oscillate only when they pick a given signal. Perhaps some abductions are just that.

Yes, that would do the trick for a human brain. Forcing specific patterns of neural firing, keeping those patterns correlated, and activating specific areas in the brain would take the individual to the point where neural processes of a different kind could emerge. However, how do you communicate with a sort of intelligent jelly fish? No eyes, no verbal communication, no sound, and a dramatically different biochemistry. That's what you'll find in a close encounter out there.

The concern that can be seen is with connectivity across two event horizons, the place of sunrise and sunset and the mountain were this occurs, which is the same mountain in both instances.
Several lines of scientific evidence suggest that Australopithecus africanus (like the ‘Mrs Ples’ fossil from Sterkfontein) was adapted to mixed, or mosaic habitats – landscapes with trees and open grassland, with some wetland marshy areas. The study suggests that it was the type of mosaic environment created by tectonic earth movements near rivers or lakes.
These features including cliffs, sedimented valleys, river gorges and drier plateau areas in close proximity of about 10 kilometres, are created when sections of the earth’s crust move in response to pressure, then blocks of land are lifted up, while others are forced downwards. When this happens next to a river, the result is the creation of wetland, marshy areas close to drier plateaus and areas of erosion.
Professor Geoff Bailey, from the University of York, who is the lead author on an accompanying paper, also published in the same issue of the Journal of Human Evolution, confirms: “This link between earthquakes and human habitation is one we’ve long suspected was there. Regions vulnerable to earthquake and volcanic activity often create landscapes with long-term benefits for human settlement. But the tragic events in Christchurch are a graphic illustration of the attendant risk of these locations.”
you are saying all nuclear weapons world wide are disabled?
we are the seed to the galaxy and one day the universe
These species have Failed and died off
We study various animals and compare their mental capabilities with our own.
it may be possible to communicate with dolphins, but not with ants
if we were being visited/observed by 'aliens', we would most likely have to wait for them to make the first move (and probably the second, third, fourth, etc..)

Your entire world, right now, is based on MAD. MAD shaped the way nations inter-relate to other nations. MAD dictates what can and cannot be done. MAD has a deep influence on your culture and in your entire civilisation, something even philosohers tend to forget. Your sociology, your economy, your belief-systems, are all children of that mutual-assured destruction paradigm
World civilizations cease to exist, once they are wired into the global matrix of the galaxy. They become local cultures in a global galactic civilization. For the newcomers that means they have contributed nothing to that global galactic civilization, so far, and sure Sol-3 will be shocked when it finally be accepted into the Deneb-5 matrix.
Algenib-3 induced the Neolithic revolution in Sol-3, silently. Is it a model to follow?

Backmasking - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backmasking
Wikipedia
Backmasking is a recording technique in which a sound or message is recorded backward onto a track that is meant to be played forward. Backmasking is a deliberate process, whereas a message found through phonetic reversal may be unintentional.
History - Use - Accusations
It began, as many things do, with Thomas Edison. After inventing the phonograph in 1877, old Tom noticed that music in reverse sounded “novel and sweet but altogether different.” In the early 1950s, avant-garde musicians began incorporating that difference into their compositions. They ran reel-to-reel tape recorders backwards, and presto - the unsettling sound of a hundred little Hoovers sucking up a melody and lyric.
A decade later, The Beatles pushed backward sounds into the mainstream with such songs as “Rain” and “Tomorrow Never Knows.” Later, their audio reversals came back to haunt them with the Paul Is Dead rumors. But that’s a topic for another day.
The backmasking-Satanism connection can be traced to a 1913 book by mystic Aleister Crowley, who recommended that those interested in black magic would do well to “learn how to think and speak backwards.” Sixty years later, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page moved into Crowley’s old mansion. To borrow one of Aranza’s pet phrases: “Coincidence?”
BACKMASKING ON THE BRAIN
Let’s pause here to ask two questions. Can any songwriter actually write lyrics that scan forwards and backwards? And does the brain even comprehend backward messages? No to the first. And despite claims by pseudo-scientists like David John Oates that the subconscious mind can decipher phonetic reversals, there is no proof that it can, or that a person’s behavior would be influenced in any way, if it could.
That said, the brain will search for recognizable patterns in noise or gibberish. A song played backwards offers many possibilities, especially when you’re told what to listen for.
Please, take note of the date of our post, and the date of the aircrash.
Would that be an example of backmasking? Who or what backmasks? We or the copilot?
"It is completely clear that the state which is first to create such weapons will achieve incomparable superiority." -- Major I. Chernishev, Russian army[1]
The human body, much like a computer, contains myriad data processors. They include, but are not limited to, the chemical-electrical activity of the brain, heart, and peripheral nervous system, the signals sent from the cortex region of the brain to other parts of our body, the tiny hair cells in the inner ear that process auditory signals, and the light-sensitive retina and cornea of the eye that process visual activity.[2] We are on the threshold of an era in which these data processors of the human body may be manipulated or debilitated. Examples of unplanned attacks on the body's data-processing capability are well-documented. Strobe lights have been known to cause epileptic seizures. Not long ago in Japan, children watching television cartoons were subjected to pulsating lights that caused seizures in some and made others very sick.
Defending friendly and targeting adversary data-processing capabilities of the body appears to be an area of weakness in the US approach to information warfare theory, a theory oriented heavily toward systems data-processing and designed to attain information dominance on the battlefield. Or so it would appear from information in the open, unclassified press. This US shortcoming may be a serious one, since the capabilities to alter the data- processing systems of the body already exist. A recent edition of U.S. News and World Report highlighted several of these "wonder weapons" (acoustics, microwaves, lasers) and noted that scientists are "searching the electromagnetic and sonic spectrums for wavelengths that can affect human behavior."[3] A recent Russian military article offered a slightly different slant to the problem, declaring that "humanity stands on the brink of a psychotronic war" with the mind and body as the focus. That article discussed Russian and international attempts to control the psycho-physical condition of man and his decisionmaking processes by the use of VHF-generators, "noiseless cassettes," and other technologies.
An entirely new arsenal of weapons, based on devices designed to introduce subliminal messages or to alter the body's psychological and data-processing capabilities, might be used to incapacitate individuals. These weapons aim to control or alter the psyche, or to attack the various sensory and data-processing systems of the human organism. In both cases, the goal is to confuse or destroy the signals that normally keep the body in equilibrium.
This article examines energy-based weapons, psychotronic weapons, and other developments designed to alter the ability of the human body to process stimuli. One consequence of this assessment is that the way we commonly use the term "information warfare" falls short when the individual soldier, not his equipment, becomes the target of attack.
scientists are "searching the electromagnetic and sonic spectrums for wavelengths that can affect human behavior."
The Department of Defense calls it Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS), and it also goes by the name of S-quad or Squad. In the private sector, the technology goes by the name of Silent Subliminal Presentation System and the technology has also been released to certain corporate vendors who have attached catchy brand names like BrainSpeak Silent Subliminals to their own SSSS-based products.
Whatever you call it, SSSS is a technology that uses subliminal programming that is carried over Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) broadcast waves, planting inaudible messages directly into the subconscious human mind.
Perfected more than twenty years ago by the Department of Defense and battlefield-tested upon unwitting Iraqi soldiers serving in the army of Saddam Hussein in the Gulf War during 1991, SSSS is a sinister weapon that may have been been developed for a specific mission: the total subjugation of the American people.
Whether SSSS is coupled with the new all-digital TV signal as its means of delivery into the minds of an unsuspecting U.S. populace or not, it can be deployed by many different devices, including HAARP and GWEN towers, which would effectively blanket the entire nation at once. In fact, Judy Wall says that “there is evidence that the US Government has plans to extend the range of this technology to envelop all peoples, all countries.
But the most insidious aspect of SSSS is that it is completely undetectable by those being targeted. Because it delivers its subliminal programming directly to the human brain via the auditory sense at frequencies that humans are incapable of perceiving as sound, there is no defense against it. Everyone on the planet is equally susceptible to mind control via SSSS and there isn’t any escape from it, as the UHF waves can be transmitted over very long distances from remotely located sources and will pass through walls and other objects as if they are not there. UHF is the frequency (100mhz) that has been used for television and radio broadcasting for as long as these media have existed. SSSS is designed to utilize UHF as a carrier wave.
Even more insidious, though, is the fact that, coupled with the use of supercomputers, an individual’s unique electroencephalographic (EEG) patterns can be digitally altered and then stored for rebroadcast via digital UHF. According to Judy Wall, editor and publisher of Resonance, the newsletter of the Bioelectromagnetics Special Interest Group, these computer-enhanced EEGs “can identify and isolate the brain’s low-amplitude ’emotion signature clusters,’ synthesise them and store them on another computer. In other words, by studying the subtle characteristic brainwave patterns that occur when a subject experiences a particular emotion, scientists have been able to identify the concomitant brainwave pattern and can now duplicate it.” These modified emotion signature clusters can then be broadcast over UHF carrier frequencies (i.e., regular TV and radio signals) directly into the brain where they can then “silently trigger the same basic emotion in another human being.” In other words, if the emotional signature cluster for, say, a feeling of hopelessness and despair is being fed directly into your brain via unseen radio waves, you will feel those emotions. The implications of this are, quite literally, mind boggling.
