Simply put, the myopic views expressed in this post is the very reason we are stymied in this recession. It's moving slowly forward and out of it. But that's thanks to companies who have decided to start hiring again paying employees better wages and in turn those employees are able to purchase consumer goods from other companies.

Oh and BTW, if you are sold out before a half a fiscal year has passed, isn't that a clue to increase your productivity and manufacture more of your products? Wouldn't that put more money in your pocket in the end or do you have some bs reason for that?

It is theft via the Govt, which you want more of.

You complain that CEOs have such a cushy lifestyle, yet you stated you are unwilling to do what is needed to achieve their level.

Uhhh, we are not growing economically because Business does not want to expend because of Govt regulation.
Maybe get some real life experience in running a business, and less time forum hopping on Socialist based crap.

If I increase my product line to say 258 units, that brings in an additional $35k a year. If I hire someone, then that extra revenue stream was just erased, along with additional costs of employment. So, an employee being paid $35k a year, actually costs my company close to $55k a year to employee. I would then need to increase productivity by 100 units, just to cover the cost of 1 employee.

Again, your lack of knowledge in this realm speaks volumes.

I would like to correct one assumption in your post. We never worked for the government nor do our friends or grown children. Not much of that type of work around here. My husband was a laborer, I was a CNA, our kids do labor also. We picked up and moved many, many times following construction. We did not mind living pay day to pay day and we made it. But our grown kids can't even make it to pay day.

We are retired now. We moved around for 30 years following construction. I hope you make it that long and hope that life is not as hard for you as it was for us and now our kids. I don't see them even being able to think about retiring one day.

Okay, so what am I supposed to do about it? Honestly.
Should I just jump for joy when the Govt forces me to hand over even more money??
Should I remove "x" amount from my monthly budget and mail you guys a check?
Or, how about if I go from 60 hour work weeks, to 70 hour work weeks to make up the difference I pay in taxes??

Or.....how about you work with YOUR kids to resolve the problem.

I don't know you, nor do I know what is best for you. That is your life pursuit.

I have never been a single mother, long term unemployed, in jail, and never in 62 years have I taken welfare, I have never been the kind of american you hate. But I have seen how corporations and rich have raped and pillaged the whole planet in the name of capitalism.
