Should 41 being burned alive in Nigeria be of less value for news coverage and consideration? (To look at this another way)
Not at all Wrabbit. Of course its an atrocity. My complaint is the labeling "Islamist Atrocity". Thats all.
In fact we were the invaders, we killed the women and children. The song remains the same. It hasn't changed one bit.
Whether it be a thread about the Evil North Koreans, The Evil Muslims or Chinese or whatever, when I see this I will always try to point it out as much as I can. I know I'm not that good at it. Makes it harder for me.

Islamists don't kill children, It doesn't matter what religion they belong to, It's a great sin for a Muslim to child an innocent child. Please stop spreading false reports on Muslims, the incident may have occurred, but there is no reason at all to say that it was "Islamists" who did it, because Muslims don't do such stuff. It doesn't matter where a Muslim lives, they don't kill children and it cannot be justified.
Spreading propaganda on Islam is not going to help you.

I think we shall blame Islam for school shootings in America, resulting death.

So religion is certainly relevant to this story.
How can murdering murderers even remotely be considered "religious'"? ( I would use the word spiritual instead)edit on 7-7-2013 by intrptr because: correction

Don't think we all blame Islam for ALL the children killing. We just blame the ones done by Islamic Extremist's on Islamic Extremist. Just the same as the Christian Fanatics bombing buildings in the USA. We would blame Christian Fanatics.
If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Fact is fact. Its when we start to make a general assumption that all people of Islam are extremist is when we fail.
In the case of the OP's topic - it was done by extremist's following a perverse interpretation of Islam.
All religions have bad apples. Islam in this case, is the topic.
Evidently it is your bias/ conviction/ construction on reality/ fantasy . . .
that we should label it
If you want me to convince you of anything you are going to have to unplug and come outside the mold prepared for you. Otherwise no change can occur.
Of course its metaphorical. And the truth.

George Bush has claimed he was on a mission from God when he launched the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, according to a senior Palestinian politician in an interview to be broadcast by the BBC later this month. Mr Bush revealed the extent of his religious fervour when he met a Palestinian delegation during the Israeli-Palestinian summit at the Egpytian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, four months after the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003
