LGBT inequality extends to many other issues. Marriage is but one. I am thinking globally as well.

It's estimated at 3-10% of the World's population. No logical reason to think this is going to change. Also women are having sex with men now, and they will continue to. You really shouldn't worry about that. In fact the World population is predicted to grow substantially within the next 100 years.

This might strike you as odd but some of the things you say are not exactly in line with the whole manners and decorum thang.

And why don't we include these pervs in our country's laws and protect them, and treat them as equals. Invite them to thanksgiving dinner.

Simple. Is there a victim involved in your scenario? Two consenting homosexuals are not causing harm. According to many "religious rite and republicans" it's essentially causing the destruction of everything, but they don't have any valid reasons outside of unfounded religious beliefs and disliking them.

If you ask me, AIDS is caused by drugs and I don't buy what the so called mainstream views of it are for a multitude of reasons I don't feel like listing here. Male-on-male (and female-on-female) sexual activity has also been occurring for quite some time. It was considered to be quite normal in Rome, you know hundreds of years ago (much longer than just in recent decades on top of that!). Not all people who are participants in this thread are homosexual, so I don't know why you are saying "Oh I don't like you people" based on that assumption.

As far as saying "that's gay" or saying "you're gay", people use all kinds of terms to play around or to be derogatory (they also use terms like "ghetto" or "black" or "white", etc. in different cases out of context as well). Does that mean that they automatically discriminate against those people? No, it's just a term that is misused or used out of context. It doesn't mean they are actually insulting that lifestyle so to speak or those who live that particular lifestyle.

The definition of marriage has changed many times over the years including incest, age, bestiality, how many spouses you can have, etc., so what is so different about being able to marry someone of the same sex? Why should we deny a couple the right to legal benefits if they pay taxes, contribute to the community, have jobs, etc. just as people who live a heterosexual lifestyle do? No one is saying you have to LIKE homosexual people as that is your choice but limiting their rights because of how they want to live? That's real logical...................

On the topic of AIDS, if you haven't already, go check out this site.

It's all about the HIV/AIDS myth and other strange conspiracies thereof (i.e. HIV does not cause AIDS according to a host of virologists).

Basically, the same thing you said about drugs.

Thank you very much for that interesting link. I actually wrote a paper a few years ago about HIV and AIDS (and read multiple papers about virologists and such discussing the true nature of HIV and AIDS). My main point in that post of mine was to refute that person's claims AIDS and HIV is God's way of punishing mankind for homosexuality which is real logical.... *sarcasm*

If homosexual is NATURAL, then it would be
a natural reaction for a gay man to have a spontaneous erection
when preparing to have anal intercourse with anoother man correct?

Why is it then that homosexual males have to take viagra
and other erectile dysfunction drugs to produce an artifical
erection in the presence of their lover.

One of the most uneducated posts I have had the displeasure of reading.

GAY is NOT natural (reproduction deficiency). However, it is NOT wrong. It is just DIFFERENT!! - that, is how simple it really is.

This shouldn't even be a discussion anymore. Why do people still have to marginalize people by their sexuality?
This will shortly become another embarrasment to us, just like how we were embarrased at to how we treated african americans.
They are people, regardless of sexuality, race, etc.
I can't believe there are still bigots with this idea that homosexuals are wrong and incorriguble.
Wouldn't you think with all the bullying and hate they get, they would "change back to being heterosexual"? Why would someone choose to be ridiculed purely for how they were born. The ignorance, man!

Well said! I agree that it's not logical for someone to "choose" to be heterosexual for this reason. I also agree that this really shouldn't even be a discussion bc well it shouldn't even be a big deal. Who should care what the hell people do behind closed doors anyways?

I would say yes but only because if it has gone that far there was obviously attraction to begin with. However gay people aren't attracted to everyone of the same sex... just like you aren't of everyone of the opposite.

No it's not true at all. Gay people, save for a medical issue or perhaps the effects of some substance like alcohol, don't have issues with arousal towards the same sex. It's kinda the point! They are attracted to same gender...

To point out again. Homosexuality includes women as well.

I don't believe in any religion. But i observed that all the species on earth are bound in natural programming. For example, the formula of birth rate is actually one male & one female, especially in humans. The reasons of homosexuality are something else. nor in religion or in evolution.

Instead of reading the topic title as a statement, my response will treat it as a question:

1) "Why is being gay a natural thing?"

--I know it's taboo to answer a question with a question but " Why is being heterosexual a natural thing? " When that question is answered, then the mysteries of life will unravel (I'm sure). However, there's no sense in contemplating the true answer to that because we were not nor do we know the entity who decided to make polar sexualities.

2) To play devil's advocate, "Why is being gay NOT a natural thing?"
--In the same respect, "Why is being heterosexual NOT a natural thing?" can not possibly be answered due to the reason above as stated.

Thus, it is because it is. So far, my response has taken a neutral approach. Being sided with the approval of homosexuality, there is one question which I propose that is unanswerable as well:

"When did you choose to be heterosexual?"

As a homosexual, I do deeply admire the fact that we live in a society to where there can be a debate such as this. All in all, we are all one...we breathe the same air, walk on the same ground, and we all question the same enigmas of our origin(s). When we get to the point of focusing on our unity versus our differences then we will unlock amazing abilities within ourselves and our civilization(s).
