Off topic but related to Saturn....it is interesting how the Roman festival of Saturnalia was cooped for the celebration of Christmas in the early days of Christianity. Saturn = Satan = AntiChrist.

Darn OP, can't you come up with an earlier date That's way to far away, I may have died by then and won't get to experience all the juicy predictions and debunking. How about January or February of next year or something. It would be a long dry spell between now and December of 2020. I got so used to all the hype about 2012 that it seems a little boring now

Well it was written that way, but the special effects were just too much to do in the movie, so they went with Jupiter instead. That and the shape of the dark square obelisk itself--that was supposed to be another shape, but to my knowledge they never revealed what that original shape was to be due again to budget constraints and just the technology of the time. I do have the book, maybe I should look that up.

I hope people pay attention; it'd be a shame if what he did and died doing it to be just lost on everyone.

Correct. But in biblical eschatology, when Jesus is said to return not as the lamb but the Lion, Christians generally fall into one of two categories.

Either Jesus is rapturing his elect before the seven year tribulation

or

He's come back in the grand Finale.

Either way it's the end as we know it. Or as they or you believe.

But this not knowing bit about the date was thrown in there by our controllers so that we stay in the dark. We should seek the truth, because the real truth will indeed set us free.

The Jews worship the Sabbath on Saturday because that's Saturn.

Jews do not worship the Sabbath, they worship on the sabbath, and they do not worship Saturn. Jewish Sabbaths are tied to the cycles of the moon on 7 day intervals, not Saturn. The High Sabbaths are also linked to the timing of fullmoons and newmoons not Saturn.

Actually, it's likely both. This ties into what happened with Adam. Adam left Eve vulnerable to be tempted by the serpent and she was deceived and Death claimed her (was cursed to die). Jesus as the second Adam and God, will not allow his bride to be defiled.

Either way it's the end as we know it. Or as they or you believe.

It's the beginning for us, the end for those who do not come to him. The beginning was our end, the end is our beginning. This world will be completely consumed by fire, most likely from the sun, either a CME or the sun expanding and swallowing the earth and slagging it are the most likely scenarios.

Oh sure, they all instinctively know their doom hangs over them, that's why they get scared everytime a false prophet proclaims his doom and gloom and they start going batsh*t crazy trying to stock up for the end, or building bunkers deep underground and them doing these things is fulfilling prophecy.

Thanks for your input. It gets complicated for sure. But I see more than a coincidence when they worship on the Sabbath and the name of the day comes from Saturn.

Remember who Jesus really is, The Sun, and what the Cross really is:

I know that it's all the rage in the 'States but did you know that there is an alternative Christian view to the Dispensationalist "end times" scenario that you have assumed is the default Christian position?

What if the world just keeps improving by increments until Christ comes into his kingdom, here on Earth? No horror doom-porn at all.

What if the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70 was what most Christians thought was talked about in Matthew 24, Daniel and Revelation, Nero was 'the Beast' and 'the spirit of anti-Christ' was any one of hundreds of regimes that have oppressed Christians?

Perhaps the idea of a tribulation affecting Christians has only been mainstream for 120 years?
