Republicans have always been the worst enemies of free speech.

I am not at all surprised to see them attacking journalists and whistleblowers.

I realize it's not very Christian of me but I cannot stand Peter King and I think he's a bad person and a gross human being. I remember a video of him sipping from a cup during the Bush/Gore debacle and muttering something into his cup with a knowing grin about the vote count as if they'd been up to something with regard to the voting machines, and it disgusted me and everything I've seen of the man since hasn't allayed my impression of him and I'm a fairly astute observer.

Here it is found it!

"Those who vote control nothing, those who count the votes control everything."

Umm... you need to get out more. Comments like this are the epitome of true partisan blindness. Trust me, I'm "a liberal" and I voted for Obama twice. I also think he's been nothing but bull honky on so far as transparency that he promised as well as made many other horrible decisions. An oldschool Chicago politician through and through. I would also vote for him again faced with the "choice" between him and Mitt who ran. Sometimes the best decision is the one that sucks least. Also, I think Bengazhi is way overblown, Islam can suck my giant noodley appendage, the majority of whose practitioners enable the extremist disallusioned psychotic element therein. Mu man was a pedophile, and there sure as hell aren't 72 virgins anywhere actually wanting to be with any of them. Actually, it's the same way I feel about cops, the majority protecting / enabling the bad ones.

The police, and "islam" as a whole I'd say are on common ground in my mind, as in I'd move more to not piss on a butterfly, towards their faces if it was more convenient for the butterfly. Add to that list, so called priests and their pedobear brethren. F that, F U, and F everyone who conceals horrific violent, predatory behavior. Journalists, while not what they used to be, are what we need. The truth will be free, knowledge is power, and information deserves to be free.

Those that speak not against their own join the lowest depths of their ranks.

But too you and those in the black and white world that you live in, all I have to say is wake up. You are missing a hell of a lot of laughs with prejudice and quantum blindness. You are too entangled on the talking points, the talking points you are echoing down your party line. After all, they are talking points, they go both ways, and you sir, are talking them fine.

I'm disgusted that this fat piece of garbage represents my state. God knows I never voted for him.

These guys better start remembering they represent US.. and they should just shut their mouths when it comes to their personal opinions.

The arrogance of these elected officials is startling.

I'm waiting for a grand reset; I'd like all of these idiots kicked to the curb and start over with some fresh minds. The vast majority of people we have in DC now are too far gone IMO.

Really they aren't doing anything that men like Adams, Hamilton and Jefferson haven't already done. These types of problems aren't really anything new. They have been with us from the start and will be with us until the end.

Did you get paid to make that post?

Everything's different now and the public interest and trust is being eroded like never before, or very rarely.

He's right kick them all out and bring in the next generation, and somehow crack the system wide open and start anew, what a wonderful idea, a bloodless quiet revolution.

What is different? Not really much of anything. Adams and Jefferson both prosecuted and imprisoned the loudest voices of political dissension on the grounds of wait *drumroll* ...... some more *drumroll*........ That is right SEDITION. While at the same time the two political parties were constantly at each others throats, and obstructing one another. The only thing that has really changed is just how fast the information gets around. Same crappy politicians fighting over power, for the same crappy reasons, nothing new under the sun.

We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity. And we give it to you, the people. Gotham is yours! None shall interfere, do as you please.

Blood will be shed. The police will survive, as they learn to serve true justice. This great city, it will endure. Gotham will survive.
