its been 11 hours now.

The jury was not told about the possible sentences Zimmerman could face and they are not to consider it if they know.

For all we know there is a Zimmerman sympathizer on the jury. The other jurors are trying to get her to come around or just vote for Manslaughter, which is something they can all agree on.

See, this is exactly the problem...

"Come around an JUST VOTE MANSLAUGHTER".... I knew that having manslaughter as an option would trip a few of them up.

I prefer innocent until proven guilty supporter, or justice supporter thank you...

The difference between TM supporters and Justice supporters is that we know what the verdict should be because of the facts and evidence what little there is points to, there is no other answer, the TM crowd doesnt know, they just want a guilty verdict because of emotion.

Well, that is what you get when you write a check that you can't cash.

When my kids have ever fallen off a bike or a skateboard or been hit by a pitch; when you wipe off the blood you see that there has been no real damage. They are just bleeding from a little teeny tiny abrasion.

Ha ha and they have helmets on that have been designed by NASA. Really, you went there?? Face it your pug boy had a scratch, which I wouldn't have even put a bandaid on. LOL.

I fail to see your logic or reason in your statment.

Zimmerman suffered several head injurys.
PROVE.
1. That he was not dazed by the blows .
2. That he had no short term memory loss.
3. That he did not suffer from a concussion.

Manslaughter in Florida is...

"The killing of a human being by the act, procurement, or culpable negligence of another, without lawful justification"

Zimmerman had stand your ground as a lawful justification...

"In the United States of America, stand-your-ground law states that a person may justifiably use force in self-defense when there is reasonable belief of an unlawful threat, without an obligation to retreat first."

Why do you suggest otherwise?

So sorry buttercookie but that is the precedent that was set by the Florida Supreme Court. It MUST be included, the judge has no discretion.

But zimmerman did not know that while getting pounded.

Those women may have come to the conclusion that a "reasonable" person would not have pursued Trayvon on foot. You have 5 mothers on that jury. They may have decided that GW was the aggressor.

Really? Is that why he lied and said his head was being slammed into the concrete dozens of times?? Don't think that got lost on the jury.

His injuries are not consistent with his alibi.

Well his nose is bashed in and broken...fact...

How long would you let someone sit on your chest and pound on your face before you would pull the trigger? Or is it just a check you wrote and couldn't cash? One thing we will never know is if Zimmerman had no gun what would have been the end state.

I hate to put it this way but it seems obvious. I suggest that ANYONE who thinks having your head slammed into a concrete sidewalk can not hurt you have a friend help you and TRY IT. Let me know how you do afterwards. This is one of my main peeves about this trial. Those who should know better in the prosecution lie about it and those who do NOT have experience fighting, or having their heads slammed into concrete, believe them. So get some experience and then let me know what you think.

that could be true too. truth is no one knows. but you can not have watched the trial, and deny the fact that TM. had lost GZ and was a some point near his house, jeantel said he told her that. he could have just went inside. he had to come back to the T. to run into GZ. no other way for it to have happened.

if that's not going back looking for trouble i don't know what is. he lost GZ was outta sight for four minutes, plenty of time to stay away from the "creepy...cracker."

this is something which i think all can agree on.

Do they ever bump their head on concrete? Don't know about you, but when mine do, I do fear for their life because of possible brain injury, concussions, etc.

On top of that, it doesn't matter how severe or non severe his injuries where, what matter is if Zimmerman actually feared for his life. Being that the prosecution couldn't prove he didn't, Zimmerman should walk.

peace

Thats the problem.

A emotional hormone fest is hardly a jury of his peers. Should be more mixed.

The only one that knows if he was scared for his life is Z, if he says he was that is all that matters. Thats right, he just has to believe he was in danger and he can act accordingly. So because you say its a scratch means nothing. Again you guys are reaching big time on this. ALL and I do mean ALL evidence is in Z's favor. Everything else is assumptions and emotion. You can not say that you truly believe 100% that he is guilty with no doubt what so ever, nobody can say that and not be lying to themselves period. You just want Z to pay for taking TM's life no matter the cost

So you are saying that a reasonable law biding citizen would not follow a hoodlum that had a high chance that the hoodlum would resort to violence, and so Zimmerman was unreasonable in his actions...

But your point is moot because the reasonable part is whether you feel in danger or not, and with Martin on his chest beating the crap out of him I find it hard to see that Zimmerman wasn't within the letter of the law.

At what point would you agree that if Martin didn't attack in the first place then none of it would have happened?

His nose was never xrayed. I don't know where you got your "fact" from. He took a knock to the nose. I believe he accosted Trayvon and had his lunch served up to him. I also believe that Trayvon saw the gun and tried to keep Zimmerman's arm and hand away from him. Trayvon was the one fighting for his life.

Sorry , but anyones downplaying of Zimmermans head injuries is a moot point !

I have had my head slammed into a concrete sidewalk five or six times (probably more but I became unconcious then and I do not know how many more times before he was pulled off) I can say that probably the ONLY reason there are wounds on Zimmermans head is because his head was shaved. If he had hair there would probably not have been any wounds to show. I didn't have them and neither did others who I know who have had the BACK of their heads slammed into concrete. Experience! What a concept!
