Innocent until proven guilty is a fundamental tenet of American justice. What rock have you been hiding under?

Unfortunately, the human animal, being what it is, and I insult the animals, people prefer to immediately go for the jugular.

Congratulations on fulfilling the stereotype.

But what if the truth is my agenda?

Just askin'.

The defense attorney is just confusing the jury with all this long drawn-out review. A simple statement about the State's obligation (and failure) to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that this was murder would be a better closing strategy than this.

For you to say this guy has a 'moral failing' because he did the correct and prudent thing (call the cops) .... that's absurd. Just plain absurd ..... :shk:

Absurd, but yet that is the ghetto mentality, is it not? Don't call the cops cause you can't trust them? Instead you get physically involved in a beat down and possibly killed, yourself.

Perhaps the "moral" thing to do was to join in with TM in the beatdown on GZ?

The person seeing the fight cannot reasonably know who was in the right, just that an altercation is taking place and SHOULD call 911. During his testimony he made no claims as to who was in the right, just what was happening when he saw the event.

Oh yea they were so hungry for something of substance, had to go for the 2nd degree. To proud to do anything else. Only now do they admit without shame of any sort that they had a crap case.

The whole 2nd degree thing was a toss it at the wall and see if it sticks sort of proposition.

I understand exactly what it means, and it's not meant to protect people like Zimmerman from responsibility for their actions.

::Attention::

It is a criminal offense to learn your rights and the laws that govern your state of residence.

He shouldn't at this point. Their allowing it in hopes of race baiting and showing the defense may be engaging in stereotype.

Are you going to sit here and say you have not had any doubts about the evidence?

They who?

Its impossible to say with out sounding racist or being called racist, blacks. I have lived in ghetto areas and have seen fights and all sorts of altercations. Even black victims will lie to the cops. I have witnessed fights first hand and then seen both parties involved lie to cops.

Im sure I will be bashed for this comment but its true. And I would wager you know who I was talking about to begin with. I am not racist, but facts are facts, and as another posted several pages back blacks will stand together no matter what.
