That is NOT free speech!! You can talk about it, that is freedom of speech...

To TEACH my child about homosexuality is NOT free speech......You want YOUR child to know about homosexuality, that is YOUR job to teach them, not the school system

I'm not talking about kids at all. You clearly did not read what the law Russia enacted entails, because it has little to nothing to do with kids. Please stay on topic!

Are you saying a gay pride march is not a demonstration of free speech?

Or the printing of magazines concerning LGBT rights is not a demonstration of free speech?

Straight life is thrown in peoples face daily,

this bill further exhibits that a large populace views us as 'other than Human' by banning Parades, and 'Propaganda' they are limiting peoples expression and personal self, they are dividing once again,

So you are comparing a state of being (a person is homosexual) to a belief (a person feels homosexuality is wrong)? You can challenge a belief. You cannot challenge a state of being.

So, why do they have to parade nude or close to it, this is the reason why they probably passed the bill in the first place, public display of nudity to have people embrace the gay lifestyle is wrong. Why do they dress as skimpy as possible with their bums exposed and socks on their thingys, can you answer that? As i said before i don't care who you love, just don't flaunt it with gyrations meant for the bedroom for kids to see in your parades.

As for educating children, there are levels that this should be provided according to the age of the child. If a child exhibits homosexuality there must be better ways of explaining this than in your face sex.

Heterosexuality might be in your face every day, only because there is more of it. Public sexual display is not acceptable for anyone, straight or not.

Being gay is not normal. It's a disorder as it does not follow regular arrangement.

Freedom of expression, have you ever been to a pride parade? indeed, there are those as you speak of, yet there are far many others who are not, not all gays are the same

Why do women have to wear clothes that expose their body? they do it in front of kids, what about Mardi Gras?

if you want to limit expression for one group, than you must for the other

I've only read the first couple pages of this thread, so maybe someone has already mentioned this, but I'm a bit confused about some of the responses in here...

Some posters are in support of this anti-gay bill because you don't want you're children exposed to homosexuality because it would cause them to think it's normal ?!



Homosexuality IS normal, as is bi-sexuality, and heterosexuality. These types of sexualities have been around since the caveman first masturbated to a cave painting.

You're minor children are exposed to sexuality and sex education in their schools as a part of their regular curriculum.

Are they not ?

So what difference does it make if they're taught about all types of consenting human sexuality, informed and educated about it, and therefore taught tolerance and acceptance of every human's individual personal choices ?!

Is that not how we should be raising our children in the 21st century ?!

By saying you don't want minors exposed to the various forms of healthy, normal human sexuality, you've actually just exposed your own deep-seeded prejudice about homosexuality whether you realize it or not.

It is not normal. Time does not make an act normal. What makes something normal is if it is the norm. Homosexuality has never been the norm. As such it is not normal.
