What's the message here then... You're gullible?

I also see where one of these "new members" asked the OP about how they had mentioned their back hurt and would need to take a short break. Is it just me, or did anyone else notice that question was asked directly BEFORE it was mentioned by Initiate that a break was needed due to this back pain?

I thought it was against the T&C's for anyone to register and post under different usernames, as it honestly appears to me that this is what might have happened today in this thread OR is this something that is also looked over when posting in the Gray Area?

ETA: I think this MO of starting a thread and having multiple accts where the other accts feed questions and the OP places a "cooked" response to them.

How am I gullible?

It isn't like I'm sitting here saying I believe everything he had to say. It isn't like I'm even saying I like the guy. Sure he lied to pad his ego or whatever reason.

That is irrelevant to me.

You make it seem like without you, or people like you, assuring everyone that its all complete bs, that we would be a bunch of monkeys running around not knowing what to do with ourselves.

I am more then capable, as I am sure most on this site are, of deciding for ourselves whether or not we learn anything from any given thread.

but please.. continue pointing out every hoax to me so I know to quickly move on without reading anything in the thread at all.

Politicians lie, use double-talk, and half truths, but I still watch their conferences.

Every religious book has been changed and edited, but I still read them.

Every philosophy can be countered and rebutted, but I still study them.

I enjoy the subjects of metaphysics, esoterica, and mysticism. If there is engaging conversation on the subject, I find it enjoyable as I weed through the garbage and treasures.

I enjoy the current "Window of Opportunity" thread for the same reason others enjoy television shows, top 20 music, and sports. It's entertainment at the least, and a potential to learn something new.

Peace.

Oh FFS, this is getting ridiculous.

This thread has blatantly been spawned because of this one, and because mods are not allowing that thread to be trolled into oblivion by scoffers and pseudo-skeptics.

This thread is intended to be a thinly veiled hit-piece-by-association on the currently running thread thats not being allowed to be derailed right out of the gates.

Do you ever stop to think maybe the words "window of opportunity" at the top of the new topics page might of renewed some interest in the original?

Would you prefer if we derailed the new thread with our discussion of the original?

There was no mention about that thread in the OP, we weren't even talking about it until you came along and linked us to it. Threads ABOUT other threads have been allowed plenty of times before, but for this one it is clearly about the original - the new poster is not even mentioned, nor is the thread !

You seem paranoid, like people are out to get your precious thread.

I just read the Hidden Hand saga, and I'll be honest. Something about what he wrote truly....resonates with me. Obviously, the failed predictions are a major red flag and could very likely indicate a troll/hoax of magnificent proportions.

Unless....the purpose of writing such predictions was to instill panic and fear in those who chose to believe, thereby increasing Hidden Hand's negative karma and pushing him closer to his goal of the fourth density.

I know. It makes my head hurt, too. But despite those glaring failed predictions, I found something so eloquently truthful that I quote it directly below.

Remember that the world, is your mirror. Casting back at you the reflection, of that which you have projected into it. How many arguments do you find yourself engaging in? Is there bitterness and acrimony within the ranks? Do you look at others, and think about how you would like to change them? Or, do you love them, and accept them as they are?

Loving and accepting someone, for who they are, is known as Unconditional Love. That is something you will spend much time working upon, when Graduating into 4th Density Positive. It's a good idea to get a headstart. Now, loving and accepting someone as they are, does not mean accepting abusive behavior. But, it does mean loving and accepting the person (Soul), not the Soul's behavior. The behavior is not "who they are", the Soul within, is who they are.

The quality of your relationships, is an excellent mirror, from which to gauge the quality of your output. Or, in other words, that which you are Creating. Do you look at a person, and concentrate to a greater or lesser extent, upon the things that you dislike about them and wish would change, or the qualities that you like and admire in them?

Remember that we have said, that all thought, word, and deed, is Creative.

You get back Exactly what you send out.

So, when you send out the thought "Why is she so hard to live with? Why is he always behaving like this?

Ask yourself, what exactly are you doing?

Now focus here, as this is so obvious, you could miss it. And in fact, most do.

Take away the "question" from your sentence, and essentially, you are saying:

"She is so hard to live with". "He is always behaving like this".

Do you see what you are doing?

Remember, All thought is creative..

You have just created the very behaviour in that person, that you wish to change. Simply because you do not understand the Law of Radiation and Attraction.

Now, try an experiment:

Take someone in your life, that you love, but sometimes have trouble getting along with.

Think, about the thoughts you have projected about that person. The Negative thoughts. Ask yourself, does the behavior that you do not like in that person, in any way correspond to the thoughts you have before?

Now, having recognized this, what will you do about it?

Simply notice your Negative thoughts as they arise, literally, "catch yourself" as you are having them. And then, simply change your perspective. Focus instead, about the things you like about this person. How you love their smile, the sound of their happy laughter; the way they do such and such nice thing, how helpful and loving they can be. Keep putting those positive thoughts out. Persevere, as you may have a bit of negative work to undo first, but just keep catching yourself, and focusing on the positive..

Then prepare yourself for an "almost magical" transformation of your circumstances.

Always monitor your thoughts, and pay attention to their Quality; because what you think about, is directly related to what you will see around you, and what Life will show you. It is the difference between conscious, and subconscious Creation.

This is powerful truth, my friends. I've learned it myself, over many years. Changing our perceptions changes our attitudes.

Regardless of whether this was a hoax or not, I will take the above to heart.

I agree, that is a pretty good message.

I'm not sure if we should accept it though, since all of his predictions didn't come true /sarcasm

But like all things on the internet...take with a LARGE grain of salt. An anonymous person writing like they 'KNOW SOMETHING'...yeah it's just gotta be true.

It is totally subjective. Just like ol' Mulder...'I want to believe'

But you still have to ask the hard questions...who is this? Does what this person say have validity? Why are they doing this? IDoes this information have hard dates that can be verified? Where is this information coming from/ taking place? Can it be verified?

Unfortunately, we would need to analyze where in the thread this took place because the OP mentioned more than once about needing to take breaks for back pain.

The grain of salt, yes. But I've already learned the posted information in my own life. I discovered it in a roundabout way...which is neither here nor there.

Who was Hidden Hand? I don't know, and frankly, don't really care. But changing one's perception works. At least, it works for me.

No disrespect, but take the American Indian as an example. I don't believe they got back what they put out. Only positive thinking can allow positive people to be more susceptible and apathetic. Pretty much what religion and laws do today. What I do believe is that there should be a mental balance, remember that HH mentioned that they work upon unbalanced minds. The discussion should be about attaining this state and maintaining it no matter what the external stimulus is, aka adaptive approach.

Unbelievable how determined some of you are to want to believe in something. Or simply believe that there might be some truth to complete crap being disseminated.

It takes one paragraph to see, "Oh, this person is probably a university student that started studying metaphysics a few years ago."

I'm going to guess university philosophy student with an minor in psychology.

Id peg between 22-28.

Someone with delusions of grandeur who has limited social capacity in large groups that preys on weak people to play the ambiguous, talking in riddles, mumbo jumbo-gobbledygook to try and convey some type of grand-wise-master persona to anyone that will listen.

I'd also bet most of it was written out in various formats previously, probably a good deal of it prearranged to be posted with a decent amount being done on the spot.

-

But yeah, forget all that. I'm vibrating at a higher level now, totally about to hit the fourth dimension. My chakra is warming to the neo static entities who our intersecting our plane of existence.

I'm speeding to enlightenment, totally feel it in my being. The dark forces of Asura can't get me now!

I bet they're a fan of this too!

-

Funny. I knew a guy in real life (see: Actually doing something) who touted metaphysics, and a new age religion who preyed on weak people usually at odds with the mainstream world and almost always in some kind of predicament personally and financially.

Well, this fellow, organizing his little groups also ran a regular business.

While he wasn't busy passing himself off as a spiritual master during routine meetings in his house, he was defrauding normal people with shoddy business practices.

During his round tables of grand enlightenment, he surmised he would be the one to unite the world to one new region. He had a bit of a messianic complex.

When he wasn't busy committing outright fraud, or leading his cult into metaphysical "enlightenment" he was engaging in perverse sexual acts with his followers who were naturally selected because of their vulnerable state which I'm sure made it easier to carry out his odd little fetishes which seemed to be convincing straight men they were gay, while simultaneously berating them with homophobic slurs as soon as they gave into his pressure. (He was of course straight somehow?)

I only saw this level of crazy because among other things, he was involved in some normal business practices which led to me uncovering all this.

Once I did I switched vendors as fast as possible.

Seeing those people who fell for the act, I felt sorry, but not entirely. You can't feel bad for stupid.

In any case.... I guess that's why some of us call BS. Because well... it's BS.

Reality sucks for some of you. We get it. You don't have to live in make believe world because reality sucks. Just work on making your life better without selling your soul to the next new age guru that opens the door (and their mouth).

So you are basically saying that because we choose to take a small portion of the information he provided, and believe it to be true, that we automatically are crazed people who jump from guru to guru lapping up anything they choose to tell us.

I really don't see how you can jump to such an absurd conclusion.

But I have made clear how I feel about these situations in general, and I have nothing more to say here.

Have a good night!

I understand where you're coming from...It's cool that you found a personal bit of treasure in HH's posts...totally cool.

I just think that there is a plethora of people who just willy nilly read something and automatically 'it feels right' it must be 'TRUE'. Count yourself as one of those who can discern, because there is not a plethora of those types, except perhaps here at ATS.

Like I said, I want to believe...but not on this one. Rings kinda New Agey....not anything new round these parts. Just my 2 pennies.
