wow I feel like eating some honey now. There's another thing it's called "oil of oregano". POWERFUL STUFF. Suppose to cure prostrate cancer. Look it up if you dont believe me. I'm serious about that as I've heard some amazing studies. So ya a lot of common stuff you can get that is more effective than drugs. Most people should actually get this book called: "Confessions of a medical heiratic". Famous and great book. Excellent read.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to give this topic another bump and opening people's minds to the possibilities that exist around them.

I also want to thank all the beekeepers out there and everyone willing to share their experiences good and bad. The more we share the more we learn!

Honey is packed with natural sugar, however it is true the corporations dilute it often with cheaper syrups etc.

So best bet is to find a local source and try a few variants of that.
I strongly recommend avoiding large corporate distributors, they have the lowest quality product in general.

I had to add this piece after watching the MSM lie outright about vaccines and spread complete disinformation in order to compel fear in the mindless and convince them to take vaccines which are highly questionable and arguably dangerous.

This FOX NEWS hit piece caused me to conduct this research.

Of the 21 people who contracted measles linked to the church, 16 were unvaccinated. The others may have had at least one vaccination, but had no documentation.

This is just an example of the many out of context misleading pieces of information they are using to fear monger people back into taking vaccines.

Ok that's a topic for another thread "Why vaccinations don't always work as expected", but know the facts, that you could be vaccinated and still contract the illness, in fact the vaccinations themselves are known to cause the disease they are claimed to prevent.

There is no "weak" virus it's a misnomer, there is only "on and off", aka dead and living virus.
A dead virus doesn't do anything therefore doesn't cause the body to react so no immunity is formed.
A live virus attempts to hijack cells, therefore activates the body response.

Anyways, CDC please show me the statistics about how dangerous Measles really is?
cdc.gov

Worldwide, about 20 million people get measles each year.

One to three out of 1,000 children in the U.S. who get measles will die from the disease, even with the best care. About 150,000 to 175,000 people die from measles each year around the world

3 outta 1000 in the USA, that's .3% death rate.
Slightly higher worldwide around .75%.

The death rate is less than 1% worldwide from those who did contract the virus.
I am willing to wager a large amount of these are the elderly or very young who are least equipped to naturally fight off an infection of this nature.

So overall truth : Measles is a very mild and weak disease, there isn't even a logical reason to treat it as a major issue considering what information is available.

And look at this, from the NHS of the UK, at Their official NHS.UK website

Children over 12 months old may benefit from a teaspoon of lemon juice and two teaspoons of honey in a glass of warm water. Honey should not be given to babies under the age of 12 months.

Honey is the ONLY medicine they are straight up telling people to take when they contract measles. WHY??

They act all nonchalant about it, like it's no secret and no big deal.
Oh yeah take some honey for the measles, why? It's a secret !

Just out of curiosity I checked the Rubella page to see what it said, and here it is:

Ensure that your child drinks plenty of fluids. Giving them warm liquids to drink may help to relax their airways, loosen mucus and soothe a cough. However, avoid giving your child overly sugary drinks as this can damage their teeth. Honey should not be given to babies under 12 months.

It doesn't say give honey, but then it warns not to give honey to infants. Hmmm, I think they forgot to put the whole "give them a teaspoon of honey" trick on there, but obviously meant to because the disclaimer made it up there.

So honey = kills virus, bacteria, fungus, parasites, cancer cells, etc

This is a real conspiracy and all of the top medical institutes know about Honey and are covering it up by keeping it all nonchalant even though it is presented as the TREATMENT for these diseases.

Why are they even telling anyone about it? Because there are no known treatments for Measles...except ..honey!

Don't let the Government and their Pharma-criminal buddies scare monger you with lies omissions and ignorance.

Especially about a .3% chance to die from complications suffered as a result of the disease.

Get some raw honey as the top scientists indicate it is extremely effective.
They aren't allowed to just come out and say it directly, but they will tell you "softly" under the radar wink wink.

Addition info for post above:

It also says that Vit A aids but they don't know how exactly so it's still being tested.
So here is some info about Vitamin A for those who are curious.

I recommend everyone look into foods high in Vit A here is the top google link
www.healthaliciousness.com...

I'm no fan of Liver but I do eat quite a bit of those other items listed.
However now that I have learned how healthy Liver is, I may try some in the future.

"Turkey liver provides the most vitamin A with 75333IU (1507% DV) per 100 gram serving, or 62526IU (1250% DV) per liver.
The liver of most any animal will provide 1000%+ DV of vitamin A. A single tablespoon of pâté will provide
429 IU (9% DV) of vitamin A, and a teaspoon of Cod liver oil will provide 500IU (10% DV)."

As it's apparent that all the medical industry cares about is milking the population and using them as test subjects for highly questionable chemical expiriments, we have to actually look at the "facts" and try to make sense out of them ourselves. The facts provided reveal the true hidden story: that they are using fear/ignorance/hype to fuel industry $$$ at the expense and harm of the public.

You asked why doctors ignore the healing properties of honey. I would have to say that is because there is no money in it.

Raw honey, unpasteurized. Raw honey has the consistency of margerine so you can spread it or it dissolves in hot liquids. Don't by the liquid slop from your supermarket, there's added sugar. I had some minor digestive problems going back for five years. About six months ago a co-worker turned me on to raw honey. I put a heaping teaspoon in a cup of tea (not a big tea fan but the honey adds great flavor). No more digestive problems after a week of using it. I now swear by it.

Oh ya, before I forget. I didn't read all pages in this thread, so my apologies if this has already been mentioned. Beekeepers don't get cancer. Coincidence?

A friend of mine whose horse had injured himself (he got snagged on barbed wire and tore open his leg) used Manuka Honey to help the wound to heal. She would wash the wound and then put lots of Honey on the wound and wrap it in bandages. The would healed within months. The only problem that she encountered was the price of the Honey and her 3 year old son would eat it!

Thank you so much for this!

I must say that this is one of the best threads I have read on ATS.

This is the second thread of yours that I have read. I am impressed with the amount of research you do.

You know what else has anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungicidal, anti-tumoral, etc properties?

Isopropyl alchohol, and it does much better than the piddling 67% kill rate of honey(if that's even an accurate or reliable rate).

Perhaps you should try drinking some rubbing alcohol the next time you get strep throat (PS - don't actually do this).

I give my testimonial that honey can help you be healthier. I started taking honey daily about 3 months ago and have decided I will continue to until the day I die.

I was having allergy attacks so I decided to try some local honey for a couple weeks to see how it helped. I had always heard the benefits of it's allergy fighting properties as I grew up so I bought some wild flower honey and started a daily regimen. About a week into taking it my head cleared and I haven't had an allergy attack in 3 months! I also haven't had a cold or so much as a sniffle since.
My job has me outside in the elements a lot and it's unheard of me getting through November and December without a runny nose so I'm thinking it's got to be the honey. I'm not doing anything else differently.

Since honey seems to have an almost eternal shelf life if properly stored I'm starting to stock up on it. Especially since last years harvest was really poor around here. One bee keeper told me he had harvested only around 30 percent of what he usually did. When I mentioned if he thought it was related to the Colony Collapse Disorder he didn't think so and believed it was due to all the rainfall this area had. Poor lil' honey bees can't get a break.
