Of course if we didn't have any security there, and some TPM idiot decided to start shooting at people in the building then we would have Benghazi all over again wouldn't we?

Oh, so what is the past incident that you are going off of?

What is the past of OWS as compared to the Tea Party?

Yeah, so who is violent and all?

Yes, most assuredly. They are only for members of Tea Party that use them. There are plenty that do not.

Tea Party members seem to be upset about the governments response of..

..other people with holstered weapons.

Why so threatened?

The thumbnail of the video: Federal Protective Service Police.

FEDERAL POLICE.

This is frightening.

Especially since DHS is expanding its grasp beyond simple terrorism into a federal police force under the guise of homeland security-terrorism. And when coupled with this article/thread, Homeland Security, police investigate swastika on home, the implications are exceedingly troubling.

How long before these Federal police vehicles and "officers" and swarming around daily?

New tagline:

"Homeland Security: Federal Police in Disguise. Coming to a community near YOU."

I'm surly not the first to mention this, but if the IRS needs DHS to protect themselves from the Tea Party, then whom do we have to protect US from the IRS?

Sorry, this is the same group who has openly threatened members of the federal government. Have openly talked about armed revolt.

If there wasn't security there and one of these guys decided to shoot someone in the IRS your thread would be about how Obama didn't protect citizens against blah blah blah.

So which is it? Does the government have the obligation to protect it's citizens or not? What, should the people of the IRS have printed out target signs and taped them to their own backs and walk outside kneel down in front of the protestors and hope for a quick end?

After all, the TEA Party are the American version of Al Qaeda, they have the same goals after all.

Ahem. . . a little something from Hillary Clinton

“I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.”

Rule of Law protects you from unwanted government intrusion.

People are acting like the IRS isn't getting blasted internally and externally for it's trespasses.

So how much 'protecting' is government doing when it specifically targets political groups ?

After all, the TEA Party are the American version of Al Qaeda, they have the same goals after all.

Seriously?

Comparing the Teaparty who to people who stone, behead, and strap bombs on themselves, and blow up 'infidels' is nothing but hyperbole.

Feel free to continue letting blind ideology cloud common sense.

Maybe I'm missing something. If the IRS and the whole tax thing isn't written into law. Why are people paying? There are legal precedents were people were successfully defended against paying taxes. Everybody should get on that band wagon. If not permanently at least used as a bargaining chip against the Gov. As in - we won't pay if you don't comply with certain demands.

Internally eh?

Want to try again?

IRS tea-party bloodbath continues in Congress, as evidence emerges that IRS's own internal probe ended in May 2012, six months before election, but was hidden from legislators

You are missing the fact that it's a lie. It isn't real. It's all smoke and mirrors told by people that don't actually understand how their government works.

If this were real, wouldn't people that make far more than the average Tea Party member be using their lawyers to be getting out of paying taxes to the IRS? Don't misunderstand, they do get out of a lot of taxes, but they are working within the system to do so. Not working outside of the system like the Tea Party believes is possible.

Not the government.

The RULE OF LAW.

Do not group the LAW with those charged with enforcing the law.

Seriously?

Goals of the TEA Party:

1. Destroy the US Government (By violent means) and establish a government by the TEA Party, for the TEA Party and OF the TEA Party.

2. Severely limit the rights of people it considers inferior (gay people, women, black people, latinos, Muslims, non Christians. the poor.)

3. Establish and dictate a national language and religion.

4. Violently massacre anyone who does not follow the TEA Party teachings, doctrines and beliefs.

How is this any different from Al Qaeda?
