Armed DHS Guards Protect IRS From Tea Party Protesters...

Yes, The title says it all I think. Secretary Janet Napolitano, also known as Big Sis is not Happy with Americans exercising our Right of Free Speech it would appear.
I do believe the protest was peaceful,,,, maybe it was so closely monitored because of Who was protesting and against Whom or What Agency the protest was aimed at.

The DHS appears to have finally found a use for all those bullets it’s been buying. At a Tea Party protest outside an IRS building in St. Louis yesterday there were no regular police – only armed Homeland Security guards.

The DHS was supposedly founded to protect against and respond to terrorist attacks, man-made accidents, and natural disasters. It was not created to protect the IRS from peaceful protesters, but in the decade since its inception, Big Sis has morphed into an entity that polices and monitors political free speech as one of its primary functions. Homeland Security has routinely been caught spying on protesters from both ends of the political spectrum via its nationwide network of “threat fusion centers”. Government documents unearthed in April revealed that the DHS, “conducts daily monitoring of peaceful, lawful protests as a matter of policy” and functions as a “secret political police force against people participating in lawful, peaceful free speech activity,” such as ‘Occupy’ demonstrations.

You'll notice most of these peaceful protesters are Caucasian,

In its promotional material for the ‘See Something, Say Something’ snitch program, the DHS has routinely portrayed white, middle class Americans as the most likely terrorists. Mock news reports and security drills run by the DHS have also depicted gun owners and homeschoolers as violent terrorists.

It’s no surprise that the DHS is now deploying its agents to defend the IRS against the ire of the American people given that both federal agencies have gone to extreme lengths to target law-abiding, conservative, or God forbid “anti-government” Americans as domestic extremists and even terrorists.

I think we see federal priorities alright. The people can protest in parks and get local police brutality in return. The people can go protest right wing causes and there won't be a cop in sight for blocks. However....have the nerve to protest the money bags of the Federal Government? Well now..We can't have that for an instant! The big guns and force will roll out, in view and in our faces from the word go.

Oh yes.....Our paranoid, delusional freak of a DHS Secretary has made her intentions VERY clear. We have freedom of speech, assembly and protest UP TO A POINT. She will determine that point and woe be the person who doesn't heed that call. Obviously. she'll insure it's a painful lesson to learn by anyone who requires the special attention in 'getting it'.

Who elected the wicked witch again? Oh that's right....this isn't an elected official huh? We didn't hire her and we can't fire her. Oh goody... I guess that means at least 3 more years of jack boots and suppression of protest.

1. The IRS is a federal entity, and therefore IRS offices and assets are to be treated as government property.
2. There's no way to know if a protest will resolve peacefully.

Till Americans begin to push back hard, they will keep the gloves over the mail fist which they coceal.
DHS is the new nazi secret police force, the new KGB ala America.
This is what you are going to get if you dont get off your asses and eliminate the entire political spectrum
in America.

Well you know how those peaceful demonstrations go one minute everythings fine then the next people are spontaniosly pulling out AK 47s rocket launchers and morters. At least there was no video or man somebody might have gotten hurt.

You know my friend,,, I didn't think of that, I watched the protest video again and You Know,,, Those old 70ish looking ladies just may have a RPG or AK hidden under their shirts.

And if he would have just waited a few days, he would not had to use the IRS story and would have been able to stand in the blood of children once again crying "We need to ban tornadoes"!!!

Just a guess, but the DHS has offices in the same building and those vehicles were already there. I don't see them sending all of those there for what looks like the Saturday night bingo team.

The Federal Protective Service existed long before DHS (since 1790) and still has the same job, security at federal facilities throughout the nation. It was transfered from the GSA to DHS when it was created. Again stop thinking of DHS as one organization. It is simply and umbrella for many. So yes unless a federal building has its own security like the VA, Supreme Court, White House etc. the FPS is resposible for its security.

Anyone that doesn't understand that the "Tea Party" is just the newest label for a lot of previously existing right-wing extremists hasn't been to their websites. You can only threaten violent revolution so many times before people begin to take actions to protect from that kind of behavior.

complete with terrorist training camps here on U.S. soil.....

then you will get all of the understanding and special priveledge treatment,
government will go out of its way to accomodate you and make you feel at home.

Nah, they get singled out and profiled as well. Extremist elements are dealt with in whatever form they take. Jihadists. Westborough Baptists. Tea Party. Eco-Terror. Whatever. It doesn't matter. Extremists are extremists. If you advertise yourselves as violently opposing the government, expect to be targets.

Not local or state police. The DHS. Protecting the IRS. So, next year when the IRS decides to dock your return based on not having healthcare and they need to collect that money from you. More free money. Who can they call...yup...DHS.

They collected info from you last year many of you probably did not look at. CHeck you W2 and tehre is a box DD. That is what it costs per year to cover you with health insurance. Now, how are they going to make sure that is collected...

If so, the U.S. is playing with a stacked deck of cards.

It's becoming more and more apparent that the American game is rigged, with the IRS being just one more pathetic example of a corrupt and criminal system of federal government, a broken archaic system that needs to be dismantled and properly rebuilt.

To me the DHS is turning into the new SA/SS. I also believe history repeats itself and we are not immune to that fact here in the USA

They used what was passed to combat terror to combat America. I do not think when the DHS was created, this is what was envisioned. Personally I think it has been contorted for current needs and enforcement against it's own citizens.

DHS needs to be done away with period it is an abject failure.

People government agencies are government agencies they are not political organizations to push the agenda of the current administration.

Take a good look at real fascism.
