here is a few links to understand why iron and steel rusts.....

Yes, I know, they are saying exactly what I said in my post. Do you read posts or just post links? Do you even read your own sources? Are you trying to be helpful or support what I was saying, I don't get the point of your links.

When a droplet of water containing a little dissolved oxygen falls on an iron pipe, the iron under the droplet oxidizes:
Fe(s) Fe2+(aq) + 2 e-'

You better check again because I think you are responding to someone else’s post as I Never said anything like that at all.

You said:

How in the Hell did you Extrapolate that Conclusion.

H2O Means that there is Oxygen Molecules in Water.

So, .. . Iron in Water is Going to Rust. Period.

Link to post.

You are implying water rusts metal because of the oxygen in the h2o. But it is not that. It is not the bonded oxygen molecules that are causing rust.

My point, is if you think h2o is splitting up, to form rust, you are mistaken, it is saturated oxygen in the water that is causing the reaction.

So yes, I was talking to you.

Thank you for posting the update.
Apparently we have other experts on this forum that know more than the explorers of this object. Really makes me wonder why they even look at posts like this. It is the same old bunch that have nothing better to do than to bash those people with boots on the ground, conducting research in to these types mysteries.
It always turns in to a "they're only in it for the money", therefore you can't trust their research.

Don't think you will find Paranormal Research in the get rich quick section of the bookstore.

Then I have to concede to your point because you are Partially Correct.

I didn't meant to insinuate that iron will rust because there is oxygen in H2O.

I meant to say . .. "THROW IRON INTO WATER AND WATCH IT RUST".

But I still would like to see a picture of Iron that has set in water and Not rusted.

Yes, you are a hundred percent correct in that assertion. I was just clarifying the semantics between the other posters. I think at the end of it all, this is what the discussion is about.

The dive team was misleading from day one, and they are looking for more funding, more paid dives. Whatever is down there I suspect to be extremely anti-climactic, given that if you did have something, you'd be there with your own money, or it would be easy raise funds.

And their media dump would be all over the place.

This just isn't the case.

-_-

the mainstream-media-discrediting-campaign of this discovery sure worked well. now it is the diver-team that is to blame for discovering this object that happens to look like a flying saucer.the divers never said they think it is an ufo.but yeah "they are hoaxers"....there we have a real mystery and its quickly undone by msm and the sheeples follow the call. i just admire this treasure hunters for having the guts to carry on and solve the riddle.

Are you sure you want to admit to knowing all the secrets behind this? I mean, aren't you afraid of being "suicided" by "you know who"

sad reply i got there on my last comment. somebody explain to me why i deserve such a surreal and abusive comment ? anyway i think this is an interesting article about the object in the baltic for who ever is interested : truthfall.com...
