A double-whack for you, then Doc! I'm headed to a huge family reunion where they're serving up both ham and turkey. My dear Aunt Betty gets up every Thanksgiving at 4 am to make sure the bird is ready for our 100+ group. But as nice as that is, it's the casseroles that make me drool...hot, bubbling, crunchy, cheesy casseroles -- yum! There's also a dessert called Mississippi Mud Cake. It's like a brownie topped with melted marshmallows, nuts and gooey chocolate icing. I think I just gained three pounds from simply writing about it.

Well I'll chime in just to say I'll be cooking my moms recipe for corn casserole.

Casseroles can be so yummy and this one I'm making has a really nice flavor.

I've never actually made a turkey before. I don't know who's making it this year either, we go to families house and we all bring a food item.

Darkblade- that's cool ya keeping it nice and simple. And painting is always fun when there's nothing else to do

Doc--subway is my fav place to eat!! Even though I get the same thing everytime, it's still so yummy.

Graceunderpressure-- that dessert looks really yummy. I live in Mississippi hehe..

I am still stuck near Strasbourg with a heavily pulled lower lumbar region back muscle and have to pull my stand down tomorrow evening before driving back through the announced snow to my humble abode... should be back home around 11 in the evening... grumble grumble mumble mumble....

Right, time for me to crash out as i have taken a couple of muscle relaxant pills and need to look after my poor old back... BUT... if anyone cares or wants to come over here to give me a decent back massage... i'm all for it!
