Look up about four posts.
I'm sorry things seem anticlimactic, but I see we haven't gotten the sheer scope of things across, so let me break it down here in simple terms.
There are four discs of data here. There are something like twelve THOUSAND items, including install files, and various files that don't play any
part in the pubs themselves. That means over ten THOUSAND of those are actual publications. Of those ten thousand pubs, there are probably a
thousand or more relating to the Dash One aircraft manuals. Now these files aren't saved conveniently as "B-52 aircrew training manual". Each one
is saved in a folder, and both folder and pub have a number as their name. So for example, the Dash Ones are 110012 or something like that. That
means that to find a certain pub that someone asks for, I have to go through each individual folder, and open every single PDF until I find it.
Now, I get a 10 hour break between shifts, and work 7 days a week. In that 10 hours, I have to do whatever I want to do online, eat, shower if we
have time, and sleep. When I DO take days off, at least one of those I'm sleeping and decompressing. I haven't had an actual day off the truck
since January.
So I've got a hugely daunting task ahead of me, and not a lot of time on my hands to get it done in. So barring finding about six more people that I
trust enough to help me catalog, rename, and file these into some kind of order, it's going to take time to get through this. So, if you have to
wait for things to get done, I'm sorry, but there is one person here doing this, I made the choice to go ahead and release these, instead of sitting
on them like I could have. They will be released when they are released, and the ones released will be the ones released.
