Ron Paul you say?

Don't really understand these claims from the right-wing. Capitalism has been the biggest force for globalism there has ever been. Nothing has pushed and solidified globalism as an everyday fact of life than capitalism.
How can somebody who believes in capitalism oppose globalism and globalists, when capitalism itself encourages globalism?

To me anyone who wants to outsource jobs, and pay domestic jobs below a living wage is contributing the globalism.

Redistribution of wealth is a globalist concept. In a socialist society there is only two classes - the slave class n the elite class which consist of central bankers n the puppet government. Redistribution is another word for monopoly, they elite use redistribution to take out their competitors n enslave the country. They will be the only wealthy no one else will have the ability to challenge them.

Obama wants to take wall street wealth and move it to programs and the poor and that is his goal, its what he wants his legacy to be. Gun control, other than being part of an overall platform, simply is not his passion. He's a brilliant scholar and knows how pointless this whole gun-control issue is. Its like putting all your eggs in the Roe v. Wade decision, its a waste of time.

I trust his father more than him. When he declared his support for Mitt Romney, he proved to me he's like every other politician who tows the same party line. He's aligning himself with the gun lobbyists, and in my book, any politician who does that is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Give me a politician that backs ideas from both parties and independents and supports term limits and abolishing corporate and special interest lobbyist. Than and only than, will I give any kind of credibility that comes out of a politicians mouth.

Lately I've gotten away from posting much of anything at all. I do still log in when I see fit, but this article in the Washington Post got my attention...
While I know it's always wise to take these hot topic headlines with a grain of salt, instictively with this I got a feeling this need to be posted so the real people could chime in.
Twice I Did a Search and came up with nada....again this current search engine is there a trick??
I know my ATS friends will have some input to put my mind as ease.
Thank you Everyone for your contributions to this thread.
It appears many are disquisted with the current choices in politics....But..
it also seems they Not upset enough with the current configuration to consider a somewhat strange Rand Paul as an option???
So let it be noted..Many are willing to just turn a blind eye and hang on....and let it work itself out??Hows that working so far?
Suggestion for a future thread: Ideas to make ends meat while we continue to support our families :"(

And your father has ties to white supremacy groups, while running for president. Please, tell this man to shut up.
I think it would benefit us better for you to shut up.
He doesn't have ties with white supremacy groups, they donated to his campaign. So did MOST of the military who donated. People from the black panthers and southern poverty law group donated to Obama's campaign, but you only have something against white supremacy groups because they are white, right?
