And now I got my eye on this thing because why by an 8" when I can buy a 10" for a few bucks more! What do you think of this for me?

Sky-Watcher 10" f/5 Collapsable Truss Dobsonian Telescope

Think it will keep me busy for a while? Also, as I am still researching, I can probably add a bunch of stuff to it to fit my needs later?

I just did, thank you for that. I am a Sony fan, mostly...Sony has let me down recently, for other non-camera reasons.
I still have an old dcs-f707 that takes wonderful pics, due to the great glass included..and an Alpha100, first of the series.

Another picture from last night. Northern Lights over Whitefish Lake Montana, I was pretty stoked to get these as I've never had the opportunity before to shoot the northern lights. Bonus with the reflection in the water.
