well I know how I was treated when I was in dallas airport jail for 4 days friday - monday , because they said my " story didnt check out with my passport" I am a New Zealander with dual passports I said , they didnt care, I missed my flight I wasn't aloud to make any calls to my mum was picking me up from a new zealand airport airport 3 days she thought I was missing!! in the end I got let out and I had a sorry from the costumes officers, there mistake,

and I was innocent , this guy is going to get screwed!

In capturing him it sure is. Never expected him to come out alive. The story is far from over.

I heard a slip of the tongue on NPR radio in the car about 2:30 this afternoon that negotiators were talking with him. I found it very weird and took a break from the info on this case at this point. About 6pm I turned on the TV and heard that a negotiator was on the scene. I again took a break, came on now to ATS to find out he is captured.

Oh, the door incut goes over the bald guy's head, instead of being blocked by him!

Why is the FBI photoshopping pics together to create evidence?!??

Do you think if he was dead they would announce it to the public? Would they take that risk based on what the father said?

Also, if he was wearing a bomb vest, how do the police disarm something like that without killing the person?

He means that there is a line that appears to indicate the photo is manipulated. The line going down the officers face looks like it's from the door.

Can we not make people guess at what we're getting at liverlad? Just state it.

That is odd because it looks like you can see the line of the door panel through the guy's head. I don't know why it would be manipulated either.

This guy should get screwed. There is no doubt that he is guilty of at least one murder of a police officer and the injury of several others along with his brother, who he ran over while getting away from the police after he was shooting at them and throwing IED's and grenades at them.

Don't know about the marathon but there are eyewitnesses to the acts above.

The guy with his back to the camera and wearing a cap. Look at the right hand side of his face just below his ear. Blobby bits - could be fat but .. it looks as if something wasn't quite removed from the area around him.

It looks like the car antenna just happens to line up with the cutout of the door. Doesn't really seem suspicious to me.

You know, it is not out of the question that law enforcement were in discussion with the suspect throughout the day although i personally think it is unlikely.

What interests me though is that you think a slip-up from a journalist is a basis for that opinion. You think if what you suggest was the case that:

1). Only one journalist would know.

2). They'd keep it to themselves, barring slip-ups?

No chance.
