There's many dozens of variables, factors, issues, priorities, goals, conflicting info etc. etc. etc. Speculating in such a situation about such an eventuality is hazardous.

I'm glad they were wrong. They well could have been right. If i'd had to place a bet, I'd have thought it 51% or more likely that they would have been right.

I saw only the white ambulance exit after a very large vehicle went through.

Great to hear Boston cops congratulating each other on the scanner. It's been tiring following this from home today, must have been crazy for the guys on the ground!

On the other hand..... I listened to the Scanner till 6:30 in the morning, went to bed, woke up, listened all day till 6 O'clock, at which point, I had to write an Exam at 7:00.....and THEN they capture him

What are you talking about? They used crude common/explosives and used ball bearings/bb's and nails as shrapnel. Hardly sophisticated and readily available to ANYONE.
