Yeah so, my friend's toilet was clogged for some unknown amount of time, they finally got it cleared, then later that day, this was floating in their toilet water. If you want to know, I live in Southeastern VA.

So, what is it? does anyone know?

Your friends poop evolved into a living organism...

In all seriousness I have no idea. It looks like a silverfish with the skin of an amphibian.

I've seen those guys before. And the first thing I thought looking at her was feeling sorry for her plight. Torn up like that. Living among humans must be horrible if you're a tree, or an insect, or lots of things. Except dogs and cats. And hamsters, they live kind of cramped but do have those tubes to run around in.

Dead and floating, maybe a cricket that fell in and got bloated from absorbing a lot of water? My best real guess..

I think the important question should be - Which way was it going! Cos I dont think I'd want those things crawling up out of my loo.

That's an earwig... not an uncommon enough insect for this many people to not know what it is

on a second glance, it might not be an earwig after all. Maybe some type of house centipede?

To be honest that looks like a centipede that is missing a couple legs and part of its body. This is from someone who lived in a tropical climate where centipedes are plentiful. That is just my best guess though. Could be anything. Nice title btw lol I didn't know if I should open the thread.
