I think they are just closing everything. Public transport, hotels, major landmarks, airspace...

But airspace? Interesting. Number of injuries is only in the 20s, why close the air space? Surely its not that serious. Seems like the attack is over. 3 bombs, of which 2 worked, and thats it. I think. Suppose its good to shut down everything, just in case.

You have your information incorrect. Look at the video of the second explosion, right down the block directly in the pedestrian area.

Reading the thread, I see quite a few posters seem to have an idea that the terror is
-homegrown
-done on tax day
-done on Patriots day

We really shouldn't investigate, all the answers are here, right?

The best part is, no matter who gets the blame, there will be a segment of the population that doesn't believe the official story.

No you do not.

Nothing is known at this point, so any speculation is just that, and trying to politicize it is not helpful at all.

We can but speculate and try to find reason for 1) a bombing, and 2) why at Boston.

Boston is symbolic in the birth of a free nation with rights for it's citizens.

I didn't know it was tax day today either over there, but since the tea party was related to taxation, the gun rights issues are after Newtown and families of the victims were there and the race was being run in their honour, it seems far more logical to me to be US based right wing gun nuts who see themselves as patriots initiating the tea party & hence revolution mark 2.

I wonder if there were any "drills" going down at the time of the explosion?

saw a post on another forum and they said people saw somebody on top of a roof before the explosions. Not sure if it's related or not. I can't tell if it's a person or not, it might be something on the roof though.

Really? I'm watching CNN stream, haven't heard that yet. NK was mentioned on page 2 of this thread, so wouldn'y be surprised. I remembered the NK video of a marathon, which is the only connection I see (apart from the date)/

Edit: now they found unexploded ordnance this seals the fate of who ever did this, they will now be caught 100% no doubt about it.

Getting just one bomb in tact is a BIG bonus for law enforcement.
