The clavichord is an ancient instrument. There is a lot of side-effect noise with the clavichord. The string (wire) is struck with a metal wedge. This
makes for noise that is remedied in the modern piano where a felt-tiped hammer is used. Also the keyboard lever mechanism noise is almost equal in
volume to the sound of the notes.
However, there is no noise in this rendering. Because the noise was eliminated by electronic filtering when the instrument was sampled.
