I think we are dealing with an over population problem and a sustainability issue on the planet. We already have enough children to go around twice. To make a child who essentially belongs to science is like creating a slave and no doubt they want to go some route or another like that.

Let's look at the genetical ethics as well. Each aborted child could potentially be the biological mother of 1000 children who will have all been brought to term by surrogate mothers. Some of those children will be girls and some will be boys. While it is highly likely that each of these children will have different fathers, what if they all had the same father by means of a single sperm donor for the purpose of lesbian couples to have children?

Now there would be 1000 children that genetically speaking would be brothers and sisters all with different surrogate mothers and naturally, different last names. How many of these children would find each other and mate and produce children that would be quite genetically defunct (since they would be the direct product of genetical incest) to the point of needing cradle to grave support by you the tax payer?

There are always multiple degrees to ethics.

I don't believe in abortion and wouldn't have one if I could but I certainly am not going to interfere in the private gynecological matters between a woman and her doctor. I will not trample a persons freedom to make decisions concerning their own body or try to punish them for having sex in the first place. Forcing a woman or girl to carry every conception to term is State sponsored rape.

You say you don't believe in abortion yourself; but you do believe in another womans right to have an abortion; so therefore aren't you promoting abortion?

Not at all. The people who are trying to close planned parenthood and skip birth control are promoting and increasing abortion in this country. People who are in favor of "family planning" are not. They just aren't telling people if you don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex. They are more realistic than that. Get real. Everyone isn't going to get religious.

The church tells people abortion is wrong and everyone is trying to outlaw it.

There is NO RIGHT TO PRIVACY in the US Constitution. Abortion, prior to Roe v. Wade, was a STATES' RIGHTS ISSUE (given each state the right to self determine its position on the legality of abortion). R v. W made it a federal decision (and many legal theorists claim the Federal Court had no standing and that Roe v. Wade was/is in error).

Society already does this, and gives the man absolutely no say in whether the result of said night will be carried to term or not.
I absolutely oppose abortion, BUT if the mother can decide to abort why not the father? Why is the mother allowed to avoid the consequences of her reckless behavior, but not the father? Hypocrisy much???

I am sorry, but just because you choose to indulge in reckless behavior does not make it my responsibility to pay the price. Birth control is very easy. Nobody ever got pregnant from a blowjob. Cunnilingus makes no babies. We all know what causes pregnancy. Be smart or pay the consequences yourself.

It is absolutely NOT the same as being a donor. The donor CHOSE to donate their organs or whatever while fully conscious and ALIVE.

There are many countries that do not require conscious agreement for organ donation after death (you have to specifically opt out otherwise your organs will be donated, the default state is donation). And I think thats how it should be - why should we waste organs that you no longer need anyway, if they can save other people who desperately need them? IMHO your property rights end after you die, and that includes property rights to your body and organs. I dont consider fetuses persons, but even if we assumed aborted fetuses were persons with rights, I see no problem with this egg harvesting - they are already dead and no longer have any rights at that point. If that assumption is true, then still its abortion whats wrong, not the egg harvesting, just like murder is wrong, but not harvesting organs from murder victims.

Isn't that like saying it's fine to kill babies as long as we can make more babies from the murdered babies. God some people are sick.

Why would this disgust you? It would give women who cannot have children the chance to be mothers. Although i thought the eggs needed to mature before they became viable so i dont know about this type of harvest.

Nlw why would you answer your child like that? A donated egg would be the correct abnswer if one was needed at all. IVF is the answer not honey you came from an abortion. That is the sick answer. Hopefully all your parts work and you wont have to explain this to your own child.

Why would this encourage abortions ? You think some woman is going to think hell I will get pregnant and have an abortion so that some doctor can get my babies eggs? You cant pick which sex you get so what if you get pregnant with a boy? Saying it will encourage abortions is just plain silly. It wont.
