Well, I never had a message delivered by one (that I know was one...), but there were times......I do find it interesting that he talked of them being
very large.
The time I actually saw people that I think could have been angels, they were indeed LARGE. We were in Tampa at the time, and I was driving down Dale
Mabry during rush hour, trying to get to MacDill. My oldest daughter (teen), oldest son small child), and third daughter (a baby at the time) were in
the car. The car was a large Cadillac, bought used, because it held us all and was affordable. Well, the car simply DIED. Total stop. The
alternator was shot completely. I barely managed to get the windows partly down and run the flashers, and had no way to get the car off the road.
Traffic was bad, and the car was far too heavy for us to push, even if we could have safely exited without being run over, which was doubtful. So,
there we sat, blocking traffic, unable to do anything, and no one seemed willing to help. I didn't have a cell phone then. Dozens of cars passed,
horns honking, people yelling out the windows, gesturing. Flasher on, clear break down, yet all they cared about was we were in their way. Some even
pulled RIGHT behind the car, leaving no room to go around (with the flashers on...), and then acted like I was at fault because they couldn't get
past us. This went on for a good while, at least 20 minutes, through countless cycles of the traffic lights. The kids were upset, I was upset and
worried, and still no help. Until these two men showed up. Two BIG guys. One white, one black, and HUGE. Tall, very muscular, from out of nowhere
that I could see. I noticed them only when they were in front of the car, asking if we needed help. Two guys like that, and not noticed till they
were that close? We were in the right lane, too, by the sidewalk. Never saw them approach. Well, I stuck the car in neutral, and they pushed it as
easily as I could push a child's ride-on car, without even a child on it! This was a HEAVY car, that three-four men had problems pushing in the
past. To them, it was made of styrofoam, it seemed. The pushed it into a nearby parking lot, for a corner gas station, as fast as I could have
driven it. The day was hot, so I immediately hopped out, to thank them, and offer to get hem a cool drink inside, but they were GONE. The kids had
been watching them push, as had I, but none of us saw them leave. They simply vanished. I actually ran around the corner and looked down the side
street, and to the sidewalk, looking both ways for them, but they weren't there. NO ONE walks that fast. I can't see any reason ordinary people
would hide, either, after helping someone out.
I can't prove they were angels, but we all seriously considered it then. The baby, for the record, was quiet from the time they arrived, when she'd
been a bit cranky. If they weren't, I'd like to thank them, and if they were, well, I am sure they got the message that we were very grateful!
There were a few times I could sense (as could others with me) the presence of
something there, at times when protection was needed, but those
are more subjective. Those two guys, though. Strangely, I can't accurately describe either one, even their clothing. I know they looked average,
and the clothing was nothing that stood out, but I can't remember any details, and couldn't even right after. I remember faces, too, for a LONG
time. Names not so much, but faces for decades. Theirs? Hazy.
